eligibility list for a Full-Time Accounting Clerk III position. Duties include: Performs a variety of technical accounting and related financial record

keeping duties associated with processing and completing accounting transactions, completing purchases and preparing financial reports using

Client Advocate: Harrington House, a program from Rural Human Services, is seeking full-time Client Advocates. The Client Advocate is

responsible for responding to and assessing domestic violence victim’s needs. Creating, recording and maintaining records is a daily activity and

Assistance Grant. The positions will be providing kitchen assistance at the Del Norte Senior Center. Interested parties must meet eligibility

requirements to be enrolled in the grant program. These will be part time positions 3-4 hours per day. Preference to applicants with kitchen/restaurant

experience. Eligibility for the program includes individuals who were laid off or experiencing reduced hours due to COVID or the Stay at Home

order, long term unemployed (not employed for more than 15 of the previous 26 weeks), self-employed individuals who are either unemployed or

experience is required. Experience working as an Environmental Services Technician in a healthcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of healthcare

equipment and cleaning chemicals is preferred. Skills: Able to prioritize and complete assigned tasks; Able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Visitor Center Representative Volunteer: The Crescent City/Del Norte Chamber of Commerce is searching for volunteers for the Visitors Center.

Position entails: Duties include interacting with and assisting tourists/customers with local points of interest and gift shop sales. Qualifications:

Disaster Responder Volunteer: The American Red Cross of Del Norte County is in high need of volunteers to respond to home fires and help

disaster victims recover. Position entails: Responders will go to the scene of a fire in their community, and possibly follow up with clients after the

fire if needed. Disaster Responders speak with family members, providing comfort, support, and monetary assistance for shelter, food, and clothing.

Qualifications: Interested volunteers should be able to communicate effectively and be able to handle stressful situations. Must be able or willing to

Volunteer Opportunity: Del Norte Trail Alliance needs volunteers for trail maintenance and clearing brush. Position entails: This type of work

requires the use of loppers and other hand tools. Volunteer opportunity is on the 4th Sunday of every month. Tools and gloves will be provided.
