TTW NEWS AUTUMN 2013 Editor’s Notes… Dear Readers O.M.G! What a busy, eventful and successful Summer! I would like to congratulate all of the Joseph Choir and of course the magnificent cast of Growing Pains! It has been an amazing summer and one that I shall never forget!! Red 10 th Year Edition! What can I say! Edinburgh Cast I salute you! The festival was a huge success and you really did do yourselves and TTW proud! TTW’s first foray into The Edinburgh Festival was received with standing ovations and 5* reviews from the audiences! From cast members we saw lots of hard work and dedication when leafleting and flash mobbing the Edinburgh shoppers on the Royal Mile! When not leafleting, eating or hanging out on the campsite singing along to Oscar’s guitar the cast saw an abundance of plays, musicals, stand up comedy, one man shows, people standing like statues or lying on the ground covered in carrots and they had a ball! Although they did begin to realise that not every fringe performance is a good one; Gobsmeil anyone? I am sure that everyone that went will fill you in on their own highlights. One of my own was seeing Titus Andronicus, an amazing play performed by an amazing cast ‘Hireth Artistic Productions’, who also praised us: To read the reviews please follow the links on the website: Directed by National Youth Theatre Director Dave Jackson and West end performer Rebekah Whiteley Gr o w i n g P ains thetheatreworkshop.com supported by ‘A massive highlight of Brighton fringe 2012’ y Y y y Y What’s on StagE Jessamyn West www.thespaceuk.com @ Surgeons’ Hall (V53) ‘TEN’ The concert is looking set to be an amazing night, I hope you have been practicing hard on your medley’s set before the Summer and have not forgotten what you have been taught!
