GPA Prerequisites

• Transfer students do not have an UNC GPA until the end of the first semester

• Please contact the professor; explain you are a transfer student and do not have a UNC GPA for these classes:

• EDF 370, EDEL 350, PSY 347, EDSE 430 , TESL 370 and ART 444

• Request that they release you to register for their class

• Professors will need your Bear# and the CRN# for the particular course you wish to register for

MATH 181 and 182 require a grade of ‘C’ or higher

In the Math Concentration:MATH 395 and MED 381are fall only classes

In the Language Arts Concentration FILM 120 requires also registering for

• UNC 2.75 cumulative GPA needed for many PTEP prerequisite courses:

• EDF 370, EDEL 350, PSY 347, EDSE 430, ART 444

• Junior year 3.0 cumulative GPA prerequisite for:

• EDEL 445/446 Literacy Block

• EDEL 450 Math and Social Studies Methods

• EDEL 453/454 Student Teaching Block
