WhatIfoundoutaboutprobablyrightbytheendoffirstyearisappliedtohumannutritionisthecourseyouwouldtaketobecomeadietitian.Humanbiologyornutritionalsciences,that’swhatyoumorewouldtakeifyouwanttobecomealabgeekinnutrition.Myfriendsinnutritionalsciences,youknowit’strue.

Myoneendedupbeingnutrition,butoneofnutritionalcounseling.Ofcourse,IdidmyfirstcounselingclassandIsaidwhatisthis.Iactuallytriedtotransferout.It’sahugelongstory.Iwasn’tabletobutwasabletotakesomeofthecreditsinsomeofthecoursesthatIwantedtokindofblendit.

I’mreadingthroughthesepapersbeinglikethemetabolismdoesn’tslowdown.Thatpaper’sjustwrong.Garbage.Thenyoureadthenextone,didn’tlosemuscle.Moregarbage.Bythetimeyou’re12,13papersin,you’vegottomakeacall.Eithereverybodyelseiswrongandyou’rerightormaybeyoudon’tknowasmuchasyouthinkyoudo.Idecidedtoredirectandstudytheeffectsofshorttermfastingonhumanhealthmetabolism.Thatwasmygraduatework.

Also,Iwasoverfeedingonprotein.Iwasgettingnotenoughfat,notenoughoftherightkindsoffatandIwaseatingallthedamntimebecauseIdidn’twanttolosemusclebecausemusclehelpsyouburnfatandIwasdesperatetoburnfat.

Brad: Thereyougo,exactly.Myfavoritewasworkinginanofficebuildingwithabout200mostlyguysintobodybuildingwithfreeaccesstoprotein.Theventilationsystemhadtobeoneofthebestventilationsystemsintheworld.Itwasbadsometimes,especiallyyouadapttoit.Itwasthenewhires,thenewemployees.You’relikedude,I’mhappyyou’reintothelifestyle.Youshouldgohomeforacoupleofdays.
