Kingthorn Mill is an outstanding property that occupies a beautiful location on the fringes of the pretty village of Greens Norton. The main house began life as a traditional working corn mill, but in the 1930’s it was converted into a handsome dwelling. Over subsequent years the house has been greatly extended and sympathetically renovated and is now a very spacious and beautifully presented family home.

The family say that Kingthorn Mill has been the most wonderful family home for the past 29 years and they will all be terribly sad to leave. It has been a home that has given them a superb quality of life and one that has provided them with all of the facilities that they could possibly have asked for. They have had the space to expand a thriving family business, a beautiful home in which to entertain friends and family, and have been able to take full advantage of country life.

In addition to the main house the property also boasts a beautifully refurbished annexe, and in 2007 Kingthorn Cottage was constructed. This is a very spacious, detached one bedroom property in which the current owners’ daughter has spent many happy years. Kingthorn Mill is enveloped by 10.53 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds

and paddocks, through which the River Tove gently meanders. The family say that the garden is an incredibly peaceful and secluded place to be, and that there is nothing better than to sit out and listen to the sound of the gently flowing water. As you wander along the bank of the river, which is home to rainbow trout, you might be fortunate enough to catch a

glimpse of a visiting Kingfisher, and just across the ornamental bridge is where the moorhens and mallards choose to nest each year; it is a real slice of paradise.
