Description: Interesting incursion into the gilded tradition of the 18th Century, exploring the different periods of the baroque style and presenting two of the most expressive examples of the city. The tram ride along the river bank enriches the experience.
This tour may be completed with a guided visit to a workshop dedicated sacred art situated in Fânzeres, Gondomar, about 20 minutes from Porto city center. Supplement: 20 € p.p.

Description: interesting combination of two picturesque sites, charged with history and tradition, united by the river Douro in their similarities and contrasts. The crossing of the river is made aboard the Flor do Gás taxi-boat and has a duration of 4 minutes.

Description: Interesting approach to one of the most relevant figures of Porto from two perspectives: the Man of the Church and the Man of the City. An overview traces the philosophy of D. António Ferreira Gomes and the most striking episodes of his life. A Man of “granitic personality” like the statue placed near the Clérigos Tower, D. António Ferreira Gomes marks his time by his courageous denunciation of the social injustices of, and opposition to the repressive politics of the dictator Salazar and his government, standing in stark contrast to the Church's complicit social doctrine of the era.

Number of participants: 6 maximum Price per person: 100€Description: This project has been imagined for participants who enjoy art – especially painting – and seek entry into the creative space of the artist to share the moments, however fleeting, of creative intimacy. Assuming that the project would be interesting, only, to whom, in a way, already paints and wants to accede to different approaches, and searching to enrich their perspective of the phenomenon, the truth is in the world of painting, having as protagonists the painters, lives and survives, also, from the existence of many, has connoisseurs, will benefit of a more clear idea on how it processes the passage of the ideas to the practice.It is simplistic to suppose that this project would interest only those who already paint and would like to explore different approaches and experiences to enrich their perspective. The world of painting would not survive without the connoisseurs whose appreciative critic clearly benefits from a deeper understanding of the artists’ process in passing ideas into practice.
