SECOND YEAR M.E. CEM
In second year of ME course, students are required to complete
1) Attend the course on Preparation of Master Thesis. One course on research methodology will be conducted. This will include literature survey problem identification analysis and interpretation of results and technical paper writing. (5-6 hours duration)
2) One seminar on special topic (100 marks)3) Thesis (100 marks 3rd sem and 200 marks
4th sem )a. Do a project b.Writea Thesisc. Give a public, oral presentation of the final
project
A student is:
1.encouraged to learn instead of trying to know everything
2.learn to plan activities in consultation with guide
3.develop the ability to apply knowledge in practice
4.design a final project in consultation with guide
5.develop the ability to do research, to measure, to collect data, to arrange these data and to
6.interpret the data and generate conclusions , take initiative
List of projects/seminar topics is given here. This is just informative list. Some more topics will be added. You can also contact the guide and discuss any other topic you wish to take. The syllabus copy is also attached herewith. Carefully read the syllabus details on page 4. Also read contents on page 32 on words very carefully.
