Top yoga tips to stay fit

A healthy body and a peaceful mind is what people want and long for these days. They believe

that they are just fine in every situation but that is not true. PhyWorld says that they see many

people believing that they are happy and fine but they start releasing soon after beginning their

yoga workout that whatever they have been thinking so far was totally wrong. Their

perceptions start changing rapidly. PhyWorld, having the team of best physiotherapists in Delhi

suggests yoga to achieve their desire of a peaceful mind and healthy body.

Here are few simple yoga asans that a good Osteopathist in Delhi would suggest which would

help you stay fit.

1. Supta hasta padasana- Lie flat on your back and then start raising your right leg slowly

with deep inhalation. Hold your leg with your right hand in such a manner that it is

perpendicular to your torso. Hold your breath for a few seconds and then slowly keep

your leg down. Repeat the same posture with your left leg and hand and don’t forget to

exhale while leaving your leg.

2. Balasana- Sit on the floor with your knees bent and your hips resting on your heels.

Now start bending forward and try to touch the floor with your forehead. Your torso

will be against your thighs currently. Bring your hands backwards and let them relax or

you can even hold your heels with your hand.

3. Setubandhana- Lie straight on the floor with your hands on the sides and relax. Now

bend your knees and place them together on the floor. Now lift your body, basically

hips while keeping your legs still firmly attached to the ground. Feel like you are forming

a bridge and try to hold the position for a few seconds.

4. Baddhakonasana- Sit straight on the floor and bend your knees in a manner that you

can join the soles of your feet. The heels should be touching your inner thighs. Hold the

toes of your feet. Inhale and exhale taking deep breaths and try to keep the soles

together for as long as you can. Keep breathing.

5. UrdhavaHastotanasan- Stand straight with your hands above your head in a Namaste.

Now stretch to your right side as down as you can go and hold the position for 15

seconds. Repeat the same process on your left side.
