- Ephesus: located near Selcuk, Ephesus is home to some of the best-known Roman and Greek ruins in the entire world.

Turkey The ancient city is a popular stop for tourists staying at nearby

resorts and features the Library of Celsus and Temple of Hadrian among other impressive structures.

- Aspendos Theatre: dating back to 155 AD, the Aspendos theatre is one of the best-preserved ancient theatres. It was built during the rule of Marcus Aurelius and could seat up to 20,000 spectators. Over the years, it was routinely repaired and maintained due to its role as a roadside inn, thus ensuring its survival to modern times.

- Cappadocia underground cities: consisting of several ancient cities, including Derinkuyu and Mazi, the underground cities in Cappadocia are a popular and engaging attraction. The cities were all built over the course of hundreds of years, and many of the complexes are now open to the public.
