Steps to Creating Lists & Subscribing to Lists

Creating Your Own List 1. From your profile select Lists 2. From the List Menu, select Create

List 3. Enter a name for the new list 4. Enter a short description for the

new list 5. Select if it will be Public or Private 6. Find followers to add to the list 7. Then Select Add or Remove from

lists from the user’s profile 8. Then from the List menu select the

List you want to add them to and close the window

9. You can create a 1,000 Lists with a maximum of 5,000 people in each List

Subscribing to Other’s Lists 1. Select a Twitter Profile that you like 2. Click on their Lists from the left

menu 3. Scroll down to the full listing of Lists 4. Select the List you are interested in,

and click on the List to open it 5. From the left menu select the

Subscribe button and you will be subscribed to the list you selected

6. To verify you have the list go back to your profile and review your Lists to see if the new List you subscribed to is there

Types of Content to Tweet • NOTE: Findings below are based on 1,000 users & 398,582 tweets • Users tweeted images 361% more than video • Images get 128% more Retweets • Videos are favored 49% more than images • 62% of images were Humor based • 93% of all tweets analyzed were text based • 65% of the text based tweets contained a link • Texts with links are Retweeted 86% more often • Tweets with links under 100 characters, have 17% more engagement • Drive traffic to your website with a tweet with a link • Tweets with lists and how-to articles perform better • Quotes out perform questions
