To complete class activities: For EACH chapter, following these steps: 1. Log into Blackboard, check messages, and use the SIMnet link to log into SIMnet. 2. Choose the activity you wish to complete using Tile or List View. 3. READ the SIMbook for the chapter. a. As you read the SIMbook, complete the simulated training (you must complete all three types of activities to get credit in the gradebook: i. Show Me (a step-by-step video/animation showing you how to complete the task) ii. Guide Me (you will perform each step necessary to complete the task with guided step-by-step instructions) iii. Let Me Try (you will complete the task independently) b. You may complete any of these activities as many times as you wish until you learn the information. 4. When you are comfortable with the information in the SIMbook chapter, you are ready to take the Chapter Exam. a. This exam is based on the training in the SIMbook. b. You have 30 minutes to complete the exam. c. There are typically about 20 tasks in each exam. d. You may have one retake on each Chapter Exam. The highest grade will post to the gradebook. 5. Complete the Multiple Choice Quiz. a. Multiple choice quizzes are based on the SIMbook reading. b. You may have one retake on each multiple choice quiz. 6. Complete the REQUIRED Project Practice. a. Projects allow you to apply your knowledge outside of the simulated training provided in SIMbooks and use the actual application (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). b. You will download start file(s) and instructions, following the instructions to complete the project, then upload and save your file. Finally, you will submit the file for grading. c. After you receive your score and results for Project Practices, You may correct and resubmit each one twice. So, submit/correct, submit/correct, submit.

o The unit exam is comprehensive (covers all chapters in the course).

o The unit exam is based on the SIMbook training.

o You may have one retake on the Unit Exam. The highest grade will post to the gradebook.
