You are all investigators working to help with the recovery of a major earthquake.As a TEAM you need to work together.You will be teaching your team what you learn so don't let them down
Roles:
Geologist (the best geographer) Your role is to find out why the earthquake happened (background information)
Reporter (the best writer) your role is to find out information of the effects of the earthquake (effects)
Humanitarian (the most thoughtful) Your role is gather information about the help you can do for the people of Haiti (response)
Mayor (the best planner) Your role is to find out what you could of done/do to prepare the city for future earthquakes (preparation/management)
Activity: MISSION HAITI RECOVERY
In groups of four. You will all have a role to investigate.
1. You should start with gathering key facts and figures from the *marked sheets. Then you can get more information from the other boards.
2. Each information sheet is colour coded so.... Geologist get the blue information, Reporter gets the purple information,Humanitiarian gets the red information,Mayor gets the green information.
3. Write the information on your personalised form.
4. When the timer is up you will returnto your group with all your information.
