In order to tell the story you need to tell in an effective way, you may need a lot of words.
If your story is to be understood away from your presentation, you may well need many words on your slide.
People read much faster than you speak, so once they figure out that all your content is on the slides, they’ll start reading ahead of you, ignoring what you’re actually saying.
