TERRACOTTA TILES
Terra cotta tiles are made from raw clay. The tiles are water, allergen and bacteria resistant and very affordable. Terra cotta tiles are relatively soft and porous and can stain and scratch easily. It must be sealed twice after installation and needs regular cleaning and sealing to maintain its original appearance. Great for both indoor and outdoor uses - kitchen, bathroom, patio, pool decks etc.
TRAVERTINE TILESTravertine tiles are natural stone tiles, the same as granite and
marble. Its surfaces are highly susceptible to abrasive and corrosive substances. Travertine tiles are best suited for any interior floors, from the kitchen to the living room. It is necessary to clean and reseal the tiles periodically to protect the tiles against scratches and stains.
SLATE TILESSlate is composed of thin layers of compacted sedimentary stone.
These tiles are hard and durable. It is very versatile and can be used either indoors or outdoors. It looks lovely in a living area as well as a porch. It is of the utmost importance to clean and seal the surface immediately after installation. Proper sealing will keep the top layers from wearing away and prevent the colours from changing.

CERAMIC TILES
Different types of clay are used to make Ceramic tiles. The tiles are very porous and are prone to wear, chipping and staining. quartz and feldsparand are compact and non-porous. These tiles can imitate other
materials, including stone, marble, wood, metal and even leather. It can be used for interior or exterior flooring and is suited for moderate to high traffic areas. Porcelain need to be treated for to prevent it becoming dirty and then ultimately staining.
MOSAIC TILESMosaic tiles come in all styles, shapes, colours, and in virtually any
sizes. You can findmosaics in natural stone, glass, and ceramic tile. Popular uses
include bathrooms, other wet areas and special (show of) areas. Mosaic tiles needs good maintenance and are not recommended for high traffic areas. Sealing is needed to protect the tiles and prevent mould and mildew from growing inside the tile.
