Taking slow, deep breaths can help you feel calmer and more relaxed. You can try just one of these exercises or as many as you like. You might need
to repeat an exercise a few times until you feel it working.Try to take deep breaths where you can feel your chest rising. When you breath out it might feel like you're slowly letting the air out of a balloon.
You can close your eyes, look at something in the distance or not focus on anything at all.

The challengeWe’re asking you to think about how you would tell the story of VE Day today. There are lots of ways you could bring the story of VE Day to life. You could:

Get InvolvedThis year, there were big plans to mark the event across the country and indeed in school, but sadly as with everything else, these events are unable to take place due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.However, you can still join in the national festivities by planning your own Stay at Home VE day 75th anniversary party.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS!Wickersley Partnership Trust is holding a 'Design a Birthday Card' competition! To be in with a chance of winning a PRIZE, and to have your design featured on our cards, all you have to do is create a birthday card on an A4 piece of paper or card. To enter, send a photo of your design to [email protected], along with your full name, school and class/form. Don't forget to keep the original design - we'll need it if you're a winner! The closing date is noon on Friday 1st May, after which six winners will be chosen - one each from EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5 across the Trust.
