2015 was an exciting and challenging year

for cattlemen everywhere as well as here at Th

omas Ranch. This

little correction in the cattle market caught a l

ot of people by surprise and brought a lot of us

back to reality.

There continues to be strong demand for high

quality feeder cattle and seedstock. This shows

the importance of

producing efficient, high performing cattle. If we

are forced to market these cattle at more realis

tic prices, we must

take advantage of the genetics available to be p

rofitable.

The bulls in this offering provide a wide va

riety of bloodlines in each breed that provide se

lection choices for

better bulls in specific traits. We are in constant

search of new genetics and have tried to selec

t what we consider

the top bulls in every breed.

We are again honored to be listed in the B

eef magazine Seedstock Top 100 list (a list of th

e top 100 bull sales

in the USA.) Again, we realize that being includ

ed in this list brings with it a huge responsibility

. Our bulls have a big

impact on our customers cow herds and their

bottom lines and we take this very seriously.

We were also honored at the 2015 Nationa

l Charolais Show in Louisville, KY to be present

argue Career Achievement Award. Barb was a g

reat believer and promoter of Charolais cattle a

nd it was a huge

honor to receive this award. Cally and the crew

brought home the coveted Challenge Trophy to

event.

SEMEN INTEREST - Thomas Ranch will retain 1/3 revenue sharing se-men interest in all bulls selling in this sale unless otherwise stated. Buyer receives full possession and 100% salvage value.

FERTILITY TESTING - All bulls will have passed a fertility test by North-west Veterinary Clinic. Scrotal measurements will be available sale day.

HEALTH - All bulls were preconditioned in September with Vista Once, Vision 7/Somnus and poured with Ivermectin. Boostered at weaning with Bovishield Gold, Soludoze with 7 way, somnus, C&D type ACE, and my-croplasma. Repoured in January with Stand Guard. Bulls will be furnished with interstate health papers as needed.All registered Angus bulls are AM, NH and CA FREE by DNA test or pedi-gree, DDC are noted in the catalog All registered Red Angus bulls are OS FREE by DNA test or pedigree.

ORDER BIDS - Buyers unable to be present may contact us for assistance. Bulls sent on order by management will be guaranteed to meet the buyers acceptance. Buyers may also contact the Auctioneers or ringmen for as-sistance or register through Superior Productions.

DELIVERY - Thomas Ranch will offer free delivery on bulls immediately following the sale to South Dakota and surrounding states. A $50 bill will be given for each bull hauled between April 12 through April 19, 2016. After May 1, 2016 bulls left at the ranch will receive a $3 per day feed charge. Bulls left between the sale and May 1 will be fed free of charge.

ANNOUNCEMENTS - Errors discovered in the catalog will be corrected by announcements from the auction block at sale time, and such corrections will take precedence over the printed material in the catalog.

VOLUME DISCOUNTS - 5% on 5 or more bulls purchased, and 10% for 10 or more bulls purchased. Any credits will be deducted before volume discounts are figured.

BREEDERS BULL GUARANTEE - Bulls selling for more than $3000 are guaranteed for 90 days from first turnout against breeding injury. If a replacement bull is available, he will be provided. If a replacement bull is not available, credit will be given in next years Thomas Ranch Bull Sale. Credit will be for the purchase price less volume discounts and salvage value of the injured bull to be used for the purchase of one replacement bull. Please notify us as soon as possible should injury occur and prior to the injured bull being sold for salvage. All claims must be made prior to Oct. 1, 2016. This is not a mortality insurance policy. Mortality insurance will be available sale day through American Livestock Insurance with Jerry Mettler. Any deviations from the above statement will be worked out between the buyer and Thomas Ranch.
