This masterplan for 15 houses is made of several functional parallel strips for circulation of pedestrians or cars, houses, public or private gardens. Four perpendicular alleys cross over the different atmospheres of the neighborhood. east facades have a collective aspect while west facades have an individual aspect with terraces, patios and gardens. Car parks are hidden under planted embankments located near entrances of houses. Bioclimatic concept includes photovoltaic panels for energy and roof gardens for a better insulation. Houses are semi-detached in order to limit thermic loss with a compact architecture.

This exceptional house sets up on a sloping site with generous and thick vegetation. The wood terraces and the roof gardens give the impression of a moving project, emerging from the soil. project’s geometry offers viewpoints on the bay and improve the natural setting. spaces and functions revolve around the swimming pool which follows the main terrace. Facades are made up of large sliding glass panels and of openwork wood shutters. In the main living space, the facade can disappear by sliding to open completely the interior space on the exterior terrace.

Located in the new Berge du Lac area in Bordeaux, this project includes four collective buildings and seven individual houses which form a block. The dark shades and unbalanced silhouettes of the three tallest buildings echo the tramway. on the other side, the individual cantilevered houses and a building covered in wood, are erected along the side of a linear park. each of these architectural choices responds to the particular environment of these buildings.

Located in Toulouse area, this long narrow complex comprises six buildings : a tall building at either end, and two low-rise buildings and two individual houses in the central area which is a garden for residents. standing on dark concrete bases, the buildings convey a sense of lightness underlined by their notched design and double-height windows. The flats have large balconies separated by concrete partitions and timber claustras. All the roofs have large terraces accessible to residents living on the two top floors.

This building will be a part of a urban restructuring project which includes a number of flagship projects such as the creation of the future « Lillénium » shopping centre. The main innovation to develop a new way of living. That means that the common spaces such as the laundry, entrance hall, rooftop terrace, guest room, gardens, parking places... are shared. The building is sculpted as a diamond : north, east and west have straight facade in white concrete while south facade is more generous and organic with its many differents balconies in steel.

This project is located in a urban renewal area in nanterre, near paris. A commercial center developed on one single level will be destroyed in order to construct a new project which includes: private and public car parks, a shopping center and several housing buildings. Buildings are conceived as a fragmentation of many volumes treated with differents materials : concrete, bricks, coating. The height of the buildings matches the domestic scale of the single family homes and more contrasted volumetry of other housing buildings located around the project.

This new housing unit is located in Clichy, in paris area between the seine river and a public park. In order to enable views on river for many inhabitants, the seven buildings are set up in staggered rows at either side of a new street. The block is crossed by a pedestrian alley connecting the park and the riverbank. The housing buildings are made of steel and glass from ground floor to sixth floor. The three top levels have wooden façades. The main façade on seine river is made of double-height steel panels for sun protection and to offer inhabitants one more piece such as a conservatory.

This project is a part of a renewal plan of an post-industrial district in Clichy. The aim is to manage densification and creation of a peaceful urban environment, away from car transit. It includes development of housing, commercial spaces and public facilities around a new public square. First levels are designed in continuity of the traditional urban fabric with a simple treatment: no overhangs, facades with dark grey bricks. Higher, three buildings emerge: they are treated with clear materials and are sculpted with loggias and balconies, offering panoramic views on greater paris landscape.

Based on the orthogonal expansion of existing surrounding streets, massena will be a dense and mixed-use area served by a transportation hub. Here is the transition between an artificial and the natural ground. Buildings are categorized into 2 types : high-rise in staggered rows and base buildings which height is strictly the same to constitute a reference level for pedestrians. main public square is a sloping space between the end of avenue de France and the entrance of the train station train station whose departures hall is located under the ring road viaduct.

This collection of models is a thought on high-rise architecture : scale, ground connexion, relation with the sky, mixity, vertical displacements. my concept consists in a degraded tower which voids are special spaces for the users, some kind of vertical streets connecting the levels with each other and with liven up with conviviality spaces: public facilities, shops, terraces or gardens. This mixed-use tower is vertically divided in four programs: public library, offices, housing and a hotel at the top.

The aim is to value an exceptional natural area located between two cities. one part of the area will be urbanized while the other part will become a large park. project relies on existing topography (many embankments) and on existing paths. Between the future east/west tramline and a pedestrian ribbon along the park, the embankments define four urban areas. Their sides host public facilities as school or library. each mixed-use block include several housing typologies: collective, shared, co-housing and individual. The aim is to increase the awareness that authorities have of their territories in order to neutralize preconceived ideas and to suggest directions that might be taken to re-imagine the commercial planning.

An administrative center located in Lyon area becomes a mixed-use area including 400 dwellings. Urban design relies on the sloping geography. economic activities are set up along the main route to protect from noise the central space: on a plateau, a public park with mountain views, surrounded by housing buildings and many shops. Below the plateau, smaller housing units are set up on several terraces near the small wooded valley. new streets and paths dedicated to pedestrians and cyclists are created to improve connections with city center.

Urban coordination (2010-2012)Architectural and urban feasability studies (2010-2012)

In Lille, the south ring road is a scar in the city. The aim of this urban study is to imagine new links between downtown and suburb overpassing road and rail infrastructures. Urban and landscaped staples enable new links: bridge-building of the future porte des postes train station or footbridge to improve the attractivity of the botanical garden. Architectural projects on many wilderness areas will increase density and bring mixity.

Feasability study (2008)

Today, the train station of La défense has only one way to go out: through a tunnel under platforms to reach the main underground hall for connections. Two scenarios enable direct links between the trains and the surface. The first one consists in the creation of a new entrance hall in an unused space upon the platforms, accessible through a patio from public space. The second one consists in the creation of two entrances through two lateral wells between public space and tunnel.

Construction administration (2012)

Yesterday, A7 motorway entrance in marseille was marked by an impressive viaduct plunging in the city to the porte d’Aix. Viaduct was destroyed in order to move back the motorway. Connection between motorway and the city has become a simple junction with a boulevard. pedestrian continuities are established with the renovation of a boulevard and the construction of two footbridges and large stairs. public spaces include urban furniture in weathering steel and enable the pedestrians to discover a new viewpoint on notre-dame de la Garde basilica.
