Virtual Reality Business• What is Virtual Reality

• Virtual reality or virtual realities (VR), which can be referred to as immersive multimedia or computer-simulated reality, replicates an environment that simulates a physical presence in places in the real world or an imagined world, allowing the user to interact in that world. Virtual realities artificially create sensory experiences, which can include sight, touch, hearing, and smell.

• Size of Market• $80 Billion• Gaming and entertainment will drive much of the growth, but car makers, retailers and

even interior designers could bank on VR technology• Since 2010, $4 billion in venture capital has flowed into 353 deals in the VR sector,

according to VC and private equity researcher PitchBook. In 2015 alone, $708 million flowed into 144 deals.
