2 DIY E Juice Terminology

Acrolein – Acrolein is produced when eliquid is heated to incredibly high

temperatures. Linked to lung cancer in analog cigarette use. Strong irritant to skin, eyes, and nasal passages.

Aqueous Glycerine (AG) – The process in which VG liquid is thinned with deionized water, making it less viscous.

Carcinogen – Any chemical, compound, or substance thought to cause cancer. Eliquid, when heated to very high temperatures can product some carcinogens (by way of incomplete combustion).

Clouds– Due to the highly dense water content in vapor, The vapor that is exhaled when smoking electronic cigarettes is referred to as clouds.

Diacetyl – Diacetyl is a flavoring used in some eliquid production for it’s buttery flavor. Can cause Bronchiolitis obliterans (otherwise known as Popcorn Lung) if inhaled in large concentrations. Many eliquid vendors have stopped using it.

E Juice– The solution that is vaporized within the atomizer tank, comprised of Vegetable Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, and/or Nicotine and Flavoring. Also referred to as Eliquid, Juice, or Smoke E Juice.

E Liquid– Another popular name for ejuice.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 7

Filler Material (Abbreviated as Filler) – Material placed inside of a Cartridge that is absorbent. It is used to keep the E Liquid inside of the cartridge and regulate flow to the atomizer so no flooding occurs.

Flavor Cartridge– Another term for a cartridge, containing nicotine and flavors.

Flavors – This refers to the particular flavor of your E Liquid.

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) – An administrative branch of the United States government that oversees rules and regulations pertaining to the safety of food and drug products sold in the USA.

Formaldehyde – Formaldehyde can be produced much like acrolein; when eliquid is heated to incredibly high temperatures. Also a known human carcinogen.

GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe)– This acronym was created by the FDA to ensure people that the product that they are using is considered safe.

Heat steeping – Heat steeping is the process of speeding up steeping by placing one’s eliquid container in a hot water bath or in a hot environment for any length of time.

MG strength (Milligram strength per millilitre(ml) This relates to the percentage of nicotine contained within the eliquid. For example, 8mg is 8mg of nicotine per ml = 0.8% nicotine

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 8

Milligrams (Abbreviated as mg) – The unit of measure for how much nicotine is in a cartridge. Typical levels include 0mg, 6mg, 8mg, 12mg, 16mg, 18mg, 24mg, 30mg, 36mg and 48mg.

Milliliters (mL)– The amount of liquid in a given container.

Nicotine (Nic)– The substance found within traditional and electronic cigarettes that creates a pleasant sensation. An alkaloid found in tobacco and other plans of the nightshade family. It is available in various strengths, but also optional as some E Liquids have the option of no nicotine.

Nicotine Level– The designated amount of nicotine per cartridge. The nicotine level is the amount of nicotine present in a cartridge or bottle of eliquid. It is usually measured in mg/ml.

PEG (Polyethylene Glycol) – Polyethylene Glycol, a less common ingredient found in E Liquid. It is a newer alternative to the main ingredients in used in making E Liquid (PG and VG) that has been used in the last few years.

Propylene Glycol (PG)– One of two main substances used in the making of E Cigarette E Liquids.

PGA– Pure Grain Alcohol. This is recommended to be the highest proof vodka you can get your hands on legally. 151 proof is the minimum needed for use in thinning of VG in 100% VG E Liquid. It can also be used as a base in a tincture in order to create your own flavorings for DIY applications.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 9

Propanediol – An alternative to PG discovered by Five Pawns and produced by Dupont. Dupont will not sell to anyone using it for eliquid.

Steeping– Allowing your E Liquid to sit either open to the air, or in a sealed container. This is generally not necessary in E Liquid that has a high ratio of PG to VG. It is more often necessary in high VG ratio juices.

Throat Hit– The feeling an ecigarette smoker experiences when the vapor hits their throat. Most desire it to feel like a cigarette with a full, yet smooth hit. This is commonly felt with PG juices.

Tobacco Harm Reduction (THR)– Policy or practice of providing less harmful nicotinecontaining products.

Topping Off– Adding a few drops of eliquid into a cartridge, cartomizer or tank.

Unicorn bottle – Eliquid bottles that hold 15 ml or 30ml with an easy to use tip for dripping. Great for carrying liquid when traveling or out on the town as an alternative to the shorter, fatter bottles.

Vaper’s Tongue – This is a common problem among many vapers when they vape too much of one flavor, and their taste buds become desensitized to the flavor. For more info on vaper’s tongue, click here.

Vapor– The atomization of E Liquid which results in a fog juice vapor which is commonly accepted to be exhaled as water vapor (steam). This is the main visible factor in vaping that simulates smoke, but is a much safer alternative.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 10

Vaporizer– A vaporizer turns a liquid into a gas or a vapor. This is also another term used for electronic cigarette, E Cig or PV.

Vapor Production– Typically associated with juices. Indicates how much vapor is produced using an average inhale of an ecigarette.

VG (Vegetable Glycerine) – A common ingredient found in E Liquid. Sweet tasting and of low toxicity, it is thicker than Propylene Glycol and is usually used where thicker liquid or vapor is desired or where a PG sensitivity is present.

Wicking– The process of osmosis where more concentrated fluid moves to an area of lesser concentration in an effort to find equilibrium.

3 DIY Ingredients Part I: PG/VG There is a lot more to creating your own concoctions than just blindly filling up empty bottles with all different types of liquids. You also have to consider other factors such as nicotine content, flavorings and PG/VG ratios.

PG/VG are particularly important, since they play a significant role in how any juices vape. In fact, I’d say it is just as important as flavor. Understanding the differences is vital to creating E Juice you’ll love.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 12

What Exactly is PG and VG?

First things first, let’s go over what PG and VG actually are. PG stands for Propylene Glycol and VG stands for Vegetable Glycerin. Both of these substances are already used in thousand of products we use every day.

Propylene Glycol (PG)

Propylene glycol is a natural compound with a colorless, virtually odorless profile. It is an organic glycerol made from propylene oxide, a petroleum byproduct. It is used in a wide variety of products including solvents, chemical additives, and many medical and pharmaceutical personal care products.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has classified PG juice under the “Generally Recognized As Safe” designation.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 13

It is federally approved for use in food and drugs, and is a core component in many manufacturing processes in the food, tobacco and pharmaceutical industries as well as having an array of other applications.

PG is the more popular base for DIY E Juice recipes calling for mixtures other than a 50/50 blend because it is a thinner, less viscous liquid.

PG is easier to handle when filling tanks and less likely to leave buildup in your vaping system over time. It also absorbs into wicking structures faster. So, PGheavy DIY E Juice flavors doesn’t need to settle into a tank quite as long before you can start vaping.

PG also has the enhanced throat hit on inhale as well as thinner clouds of vapor juices made with it tend to produce, as some vapers find it just right while others prefer a different experience. The downside is that, since PG liquid is thinner, you can see problems with leaking within the tank.

Vegetable Glycerin (VG)

Vegetable glycerin (VG) is a natural organic glycerol that is made from vegetable oil, which comes from palm and/or coconut oil.

The vegetable glycerin is mixed with water, then heated to a high pressure and temperature. It is usually a clear, odorless and mostly colorless liquid that has a mildly sweet flavor and viscous profile.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 14

The glycerin dissolves from the fatty acids and is then absorbed by the water. Food grade VG is 99.7% pure, and 0.3% water. Vegetable glycerin can be found in pharmaceutical, medical and personal care products, and of course E Juices.

Vegetable glycerin is approved as safe for human consumption by the FDA, and is commonly used as an ingredient in food production, cosmetics and of course, E Juice. VG gets a “messy rep” that is known for the excess residue it leaves behind on equipment as well.

Difference Between PG and VG The strengths and weaknesses of each ingredient are optimized for flavor when blended together, which is why most common E Juice recipes will call for at least some of each. But it is important to know the difference.

PG juice is tasteless and clear, which presents the added flavor from your E Juice very well. PG juice also has a thinner, less viscous consistency than VG juice. This means it tends to build up less gunk on the coil of your atomizer then VG juice.

VG on the other hand has a naturally sweet flavor, which can sometimes be noticed when vaping VG juices. Unlike PG liquids, the thicker, more viscous VG juice can sometimes clog up the coil in your tanks.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 15

What is The Difference in Vapor Production? If you are interested in huge clouds of vapor, then VG is the way to go. 100% VG E Juice flavors have great vapor production and a very smooth feel. Great for impressing your friends or doing cool smoke tricks!

If producing THUNDER CLOWDZ has no particular appeal to you, you should definitely consider some PG juices. Many vapers enjoy the combination of light vapor and clean taste. Plus, PG flavors are useful when you’re vaping in public and don’t want to draw attention with large vapor clouds.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 16

Which Has More Throat Hit?

PG juices will have a stronger throat hit then VG flavors. There are many vapers who started vaping to help them quit smoking traditional cigarettes. These vapers tend enjoy a stronger throat hit, similar to what you experience when smoking cigarettes.

VG is less “harsh” than PG, and provides a lighter throat hit for those vapers who prefer it. Due to its thickness, VG also takes a bit longer to fully heat into vapor and demands more power from vapor deliver devices at higher concentrations.

If you don’t like a throat hit, then you should look for VG E Juice flavors. 100% VG juices have extremely little if any throat hit, and have a very smooth feel when you are vaping.

How to Find Your Perfect Ratio

The majority of prepared E Juices as well as most DIY E Juice recipes call for a mixture of the two ingredients, commonly at a 50/50 ratio but the concentration can vary up to 80/20 and beyond in some preparations.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 17

Each of the two has specific positive and negative aspects as it relates to turning out a quality DIY E Juice, and knowing the properties of both in this context is essential to advancing your craft as a monger of E Juice.

If you’re new to the vaping community, I suggest starting with some 50/50 (PG/VG) ratio juices. This will give you a baseline flavor profile to work with and get a feel for the differences between VG and PG.

After vaping some 50/50 juice, you can start adjusting your mix to hone in on your tastes. After awhile, you’ll get a better idea of the flavors, VG/PG ratio and nicotine levels of juice you enjoy.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 18

The following explains what to expect from different PG and VG ratios. These aren’t absolute laws, and are just to give you a general idea of what to look for.

• 100% PG: Very strong throat hit, with clean flavors and not much vapor production.

• 80/20 (PG/VG): Still very little vapor production, and a moderately strong throat hit.

• 70/30 (PG/VG): A little more vapor, a little less throat hit.

• 60/40 (PG/VG): Decent vapor with a noticeable, but not to overwhelming throat hit.

• 50/50 (PG/VG): An even mix, with quality vapor clouds and a soft throat hit.

• 40/60 (PG/VG): Noticeably larger vapor clouds and a reduce throat hit.

• 30/70 (PG/VG): Good vapor production and a minimal throat hit.

• 20/80 (PG/VG): Excellent vapor production and a very small throat hit.

• 100% VG: Very little throat hit, with noticeably sweet flavor undertones and massive vapor production.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 19

Let’s Recap PG & VG

PG and VG are the two primary components that go into E Juices. PG juice is thin, clear and tasteless, and provides a more of a throat hit. VG juice is thicker, and has a naturally sweet taste that can blend into the flavor of the E Juice. VG has less throat hit, but a much higher vapor (clouds) production.

4 DIY Ingredients Part II: Nicotine Juice If you’re one of the many converts from analog smoking to the world of vaping, you’re familiar with this ingredient, but not as familiar as you may think when dealing with homemade E Juice.

Everyone and their chainsmoking grandmother knows that nicotine is the stuff that made E Cigarettes worth lighting up in the first place, but not as many people know that undiluted, liquid nicotine is a poison.

No, not the “you should quit smoking, those things are bad for you” type of poison, more of the “call the Emergency Control Center” type of poison. The

following can happen if you get nicotine E Juice on your skin:

1. Acute Sickness 2. Permanent Blindness (if you get it in your eyes) 3. Death (by swallowing, ie. extreme case)

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 21

!Notice! Anyone attempting to follow the advice in this EBook are doing so at their own risk. We here at www.bestclearomizer.com cannot be held responsible for any individuals causing injury or even death to themselves or others from the use,

misuse or malfunction of the E Liquid (E Juice) calculators, guides or information contained in this EBook.

Nicotine Levels

Concentration of nicotine is an important factor in DIY E Juice, as it can greatly affect the flavor and overall experience of using homemade E Juice.

The most common nicotine concentrations are 12 mg and 18mg, but the range of safe levels can reach all the way up to 36mg and down to the safest possible level, zero.

Achieving the right nicotine level for you is a matter of careful attention to ingredient balance, and likely a reliable DIY E Juice calculator. Knowing that certain items are dangerous is essential to handling these hazards.

Please use our Handling Instructions as this is the potentially “dangerous” part of mixing EJuice. Please don’t be one of those people that makes a mistake out of ignorance.

Handling Nicotine Safely

Because we are dealing with Nicotine Juice that will be used in creating E Juice, please be aware that the active ingredients can be very dangerous and in extreme cases, fatal. We are talking about learning what to do, and to do it correctly.

Quick Safety Tips

HAVE SAFETY GEAR

ALWAYS use the proper safety equipment when handling liquid nicotine to reduce your risk of exposure (rubber gloves, goggles/face shield, apron).

[For more information on proper equipment, jump to Chapter 6 ]

SECURE LOCATION

Nicotine Juice and any equipment should ALWAYS be kept in a secure location away from children and pets. No, the top of the fridge is not good enough.

CLEAN MIXING TOOLS

Be mindful of the pipets/syringes and other tools you may use for mixing. The nicotine residue on these tools would probably be enough to at the very least get a small child or pet really sick. Washing the equipment after use is the best way to prevent any unnecessary accidents.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 23

DILUTE LIQUID NICOTINE

For your own safety, especially just starting; liquid nicotine should ALWAYS be diluted before use.

IN CASE OF EXPOSURE If you happen to get uncut nicotine E Juice on you, IMMEDIATELY wash the affected area thoroughly. Don’t wait until you are done mixing.

8 Improving Your E Juice Flavor

You won’t need any spices to improve the flavors of your DIY E Juice. But there are practical ways to improve your E Juice flavor.

A common problem faced by both new and experienced vapers is that the flavor just isn’t as strong as they thought it would be. It’s either a problem with the E Juice, or there is a problem with your equipment.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 42

Vaper’s Tongue

Vaper’s Tongue is a common problem faced by experience vapers. Once you find your favorite flavor, it’s natural to want to vape that same flavor nonstop. The problem is that you’ll tend to eventually lose your ability to taste that flavor. Here are some of the common reasons:

1. You Need To Switch Up Your Flavors

Once you’ve been vaping the same flavor for too long, your taste buds will become desensitized to it.

The solution? Either switch flavors or start vaping a stronger version of the same flavor. This will help your taste buds to regain the ability to taste the E Juice.

2. You’re Dehydrated

Vaping can cause you to become dehydrated. If this is the cause of your vaper’s tongue, just rehydrate and you should be able to taste again.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 43

3. You Have A Cold (Or Other Illness Blocking Your Nasal Passages)

Believe it or not, your sense of smell is critical to being able to taste things. If your nasal passages are blocked due to a cold, your ability to taste your favorite flavor will be greatly reduced. Once you recover you should be fine.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 44

Problems With Your E Juice

Obviously, the actual E Juice is the most important aspect of vaping when it comes to flavor. Here are some common problems with E Juice:

1. It hasn’t been steeped long enough

It’s recommended that, when you purchase a new bottle of E Juice, you let it steep for at least a few days before vaping. Steeping allows the flavor to settle and sometimes improves the flavor dramatically.

[Check Out Chapter 9 For More Information on Steeping]

2. You don’t have enough PG in your E Juice

Most E Juices are a blend of PG and VG. Look for one with a larger amount of PG if you’re looking for a stronger flavor.

Start with a 50/50 ratio and work your way up until you find the right balance for you. You can’t go wrong with an 80/20 ratio in favor PG. This will usually give you the amount of flavor that you’re looking for.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 45

Problems With Your Equipment

1. Wicking Material

Organic cotton has long been favored by people who build their own clearomizers and atomizers. The silica wick that is most common in prebuilt tanks doesn’t deliver as much flavor.

2. Tank is Made out of Plastic

Glass tanks are ideal for vapor flavor. Plastic tanks can reduce the quality of the flavor slightly.

3. You’re using a Single Coil Clearomizer (Unlikely in 2015)

With a dual coil setup, more E Liquid is in contact with the coils which causes more vapor to be produced. When more vapor is produced, you’ll tend to get more flavor.

The only disadvantage is that your battery will run out quicker, but that what spare batteries are for, right?

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 46

9 How to Steep Your E Juice

Of course this is a picture of a tea bag, and is not exactly the same thing as E juice, however the concepts of steeping are similar. Knowing how to steep your E Juice can bring out the flavors

Freshly made E Juice needs time to mellow before being used at their optimal flavor, and steeping is a method of unlocking the deepest flavors of an E Juice by allowing the ingredients to combine and spread evenly throughout the E Juice. With that introduction, you must be wondering…..

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 47

What Exactly Does Steeping Do?

Steeping is the process where the separate parts within the E Juice (PG or VG base, water, nicotine E Juice, flavors) bond, while at the same time absorbing oxygen.

This oxidation changes the appearance of the E Juice as well as the chemical makeup of the ingredients used.

Replacing more volatile elements that can make E Juices taste “perfumey” or trigger off notes in the flavor with oxygen which delivers a more uniform flavor profile.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 48

Simply put, steeping allows oxidation in the same general manner as aging a wine, and the process is most effective with deep and complex flavors such as custom blends.

The Steep Learning Curve Steeping can be accomplished with or without water, but usually involve heat and/or lengthy exposure, and many vape enthusiasts swear by the difference it makes.

Many common premade E Juices may not need it at all. Regardless, few can deny that letting a premium E Juice mature for a few days makes a significant difference in flavor.

Because of the heat and other factors involved in most widely used steeping methods, it is always recommended that steeping be performed on glass bottles. Glass bottles retain more heat than plastic bottles and also are immune to melting, unlike plastic.

If you’ll likely be steeping your E Juices on a regular basis, it may be a good idea to keep several empty glass bottles around for just such an occasion.

Steeping your E Juice is one of the fastest ways to bring out your juices best flavors. Of course, everyone’s taste buds are different, and what you might think is the “perfectly steeped” bottle of juice, might not be what someone else thinks.

For this reason, it’s a good idea to test the flavor of your steeping E Juice every so often so when the perfect flavor profile is reached, you can stop the process right there and enjoy your finely aged liquid.

How to Steep EJuice

There are many commonly used methods of steeping E Juice and many people experiment with multiple processes to see which of them works for their favorite E Liquid.

The simplest of them is to take a new bottle of fluid, remove any plastic shrink wrapping as well as the cap, and store it in a cool, dry location for a few days.

Water is used to steep everything from foods to teabags to release more intense flavors, and so several popular methods involve a water bath.

Steep Your E Juice In A Water Bath

1. Prepare a container of very warm (not hot or boiling) water filled enough to submerge your E Juice bottles halfway

2. Remove the caps of the bottles you wish to steep, and then set them upright on the bottom of the container

3. Allow the bottles to stand until the water is room temperature 4. Dry the bottles and replace their caps 5. When the bottles are ready store them in a cool dry area for several days

or until ready to vape

Storing Your Steeped E Juice So you’ve properly steeped your E Juice, and now you have all these bottles and nowhere to put them! At some point in a vaper’s life, you run across the issue that you’re running out of space to put all your vaping supplies.

I have seen tons of different things people have improvised using to store all their vape gear. This includes vape stands, tackle boxes, and even some classy wooden boxes.

For extra storage space for your steeping E Juice, I would suggest grabbing a 2tray tackle box.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 52

This is deal because the bottom of the tackle boxes are deep enough to hold multiple bottles of E Juice and the upper compartments are ideal for storing all your other vaping accessories like drip tips, extra wicks, etc.

E Juice Steeping for the Impatient

If you don’t have a few days or simply can’t wait to try your newest creation, there are a few faster methods of achieving the effect of steeping.

The vape community is an inventive bunch, and quick ways to steep come in almost as many flavors as the E Juices themselves. One of them involves the dryer, which is a source of heat that may not immediately come to mind.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 53

Steep Your Juice In A Dryer

1. Place your sealed bottle of E Juice into a bundle made from two old socks 2. Place the bundle in the dryer on low for 15 minutes, ensuring the cap is

screwed on as tightly as possible

The heat and agitation work together to perform much of the same work as a full weeklong steeping process.

However, if you don’t have access to a glass E Juice bottle be sure to keep an eye on the dryer to ensure a plastic bottle does not melt and leave a real mess in your dryer.

Steep Your Juice In A Crockpot

A crock pot is another useful tool for quickly steeping E Juice (sorry it doesn’t come with the hot girl)

1. Seal the bottles you want to steep in a plastic bag and tie it off at the end 2. Fill a bowl with water and place the bowl inside the crock pot 3. Place the E Juice in the bowl you placed in the crock pot 4. Cover the crock pot and leave the E Juice to steep on the crock pot’s

lowest setting 5. Checking it every few hours until you are satisfied with the flavor

Steep Your DIY E Juice Dollar Store Style

You can also steep E Juice quickly using nothing but a large cup of hot water and a couple of Ziploc bags.

1. Simply place your E Juice bottle(s) in a Ziploc bag and seal it 2. Place the bag in another bag and seal it 3. When the bags are tightly sealed, place them into the cup of hot water

until the water cools down and repeat until juice is steeped

Steep Your E Juice “Hot Rice Method”

Even water can take a while to heat, and so the hot rice method is another commonly utilized way for impatient vapers to quickly steep a bottle of E Juice.

To perform this method:

1. Fill a microwaveable bowl with enough rice to cover your ejuice bottles completely

2.Warm up the rice in the microwave until hot to the touch 3. Bury the glass bottles in the rice and wait for it to cool 4. Repeat until liquid is fully steeped

Steep Your Juice “Heater Method”

A space heater, radiator or baseboard heating can be other useful tools for quickly steeping E Juice (don’t use an industrial heater like the picture above).

To perform this method:

1. Fill a large mason jar halfway with water 2. Place the E Juices you want steep in an airtight plastic bag 3. When the bag is sealed, put the bag in the mason jar and place it 812

inches from the heat source 4. Leave the jar to heat the E Juice, testing it every few hours to check the

progress of steeping

10 Organic E Juice Vendors

What is Organic E Juice? When it comes to finding the perfect E Juice, some people want a more natural approach and are looking to find organic E Juice. However, it can sometimes be difficult to find out which vendors have organic E Juice, USA made and sold, so we have you covered with the top five best organic E Juice vendors.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 60

Each merchant listed has either organic juices or those that fall under the listing of organic ingredients, which is explained below, and are on our list of favored vendors.

There is a lot of gray area when it comes to what can be called organic or all natural and according to the FDA, to be 100% organic you must have every single ingredient not only raised and harvested but also approved by the FDA.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 61

Now that 100% organic doesn’t mean that the ingredients have to be 100% organic, this is where it gets confusing. If you fall between 70 to 95%, then you can use the organic label on your products.

Now if the product falls under the 70%, they can still list their organic ingredients so part of the product is nonsynthetic while some of the ingredients may fall outside of that area. Few vendors list 100% organic but those are included as well as those who fall within the gray area and can still list ingredients as organic.

What this means is that some E Juices are organic and some fall under the area of organic, while others have organic ingredients as well as synthetic components.

With that in mind, here are the top five vendors that we not only support but also have organic VG Liquid available with either full organic offerings or ingredients that are organic:

11 Propaganda Against Vaping

As the final chapter to our DIY E Juice Guide, I would like to address an issue that affects every vaper (even though this is not specifically about DIY E Juice).

It is about E Juice, and Taxes…..

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 74

As we all know, there has been a massive halftruth campaign being promoted to the general American public about the potential dangers of ecigarettes, and E Juice.

Vaping is now more popular than ever, and Big Tobacco (along with government agencies) are now ramping up the disinformation war on ecigs.

Let’s see where we’re headed…

Welcome to 1984

“Ignorance is Strength”, is the one of the Ministry of Truth’s weapons of strength against the masses. It eerily resembles the state of affairs going on in the United States talking circles surrounding ecigarettes and vaping.

Forbes recently released an article back in May (2015) on how deceptive tobacco companies have been throughout history attempting to discredit legitimate science to create doubt and controversy, and they’re doing it again.

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 75

Here’s an excerpt from the Forbes article:

“The tobacco companies are no longer blowing smoke about the hazards of combustedtobacco cigarettes. But the critics of electronic cigarettes — an important new technology that has the potential to replace smoking worldwide – have begun massproducing doubt about the product.”

LINK TO THE ORIGINAL ARTICLE

Ecigarettes, as most of us now know, are batterypowered devices that heat a nicotine solution to produce an inhalable nicotine vapor that does not contain tobacco, let alone burn it. Ecigs release a vapor that contains none of the carcinogenic tar present in cigarette smoke.

Last month, the Centers for Disease Control and, independently, the California Department of Public Health launched public education ad campaigns aimed at derailing the future of ecigs. The ads are teeming with halftruths, speculative harms, and massive spin.

The CDC’s 20week installment called “Tips from Former Smokers” includes a print ad featuring a woman named Kristy who announces, “I started using ecigarettes but kept smoking. Right up until my lung collapsed.”

This eBook was brought to you by bestclearomizer.com 76

The Kristy spot unmistakably suggests that ecigarettes caused her collapsed lung. This is deeply misleading. Kristy’s lung, it turns out, collapsed after she stopped using ecigarettes and resumed smoking.

There are no reported cases of ecigarette use resulting in collapsed lungs. If anything, when many smokers with COPD and asthma switch to “vaping” ecigarettes, their lung function improves.”

So let’s clarify what they are saying.

The Center for Disease Control & California Department of Public Health independent of each other, are launching MASSIVE AD CAMPAIGNS that are misleading the general public over ecigarettes.

Their disinformation is nothing more than fearmongering. This is an issue guys, whether you know it, or like it or not.

Besides this troubling issue with the media, we unfortunately have lobbyists trying to get ejuice purchases taxed at the same rate at cigarettes.

Truth Bomb About E Juice

“Ejuice does NOT contain Tobacco!”

“Ejuice is a mix of different liquids”

(Hopefully after reading through this whole eBook you have at least learned that!)

Truth Bomb About the Problem

“Tobacco and Nicotine are not the same thing”

Why then is the E Juice being taxed like tobacco?! This is the problem I have. The E Juice is already getting more expensive, but it’s still WAY cheaper than a pack of cigarettes.

Truth Bomb About Big Tobacco

“Big Tobacco is losing money, and needs to push Washington to regulate the new industry”

Why? Well, if Big Tobacco has it’s way, all it needs is enough time and regulations to bankrupt the majority of the industry while simultaneously reaching the potential requirements of the FDA proposal.

The Real Truth

“Most antitobacco campaigners agree that E Cigarettes should be regulated. But some believe they deserve a lighter touch than tobacco because they can help smokers quit, and may be less harmful than smoking.” —Reuters Big Tobacco Articles
