Having a college degree is an advantage over those who does not have one.


Thing No. 2 – The difference it makes

As mentioned, my degree gives me an advantage. It gives me not only the educational qualifications but also a better point of view in life which is one of the things to which employers, prospective partners in business and practice of profession give value.


Thing No. 3 – A positive attitude and outlook

I developed a positive way of thinking and character from my learning, training and experiences at university. From putting in my time, effort and resources to earn my college education, I learned that people need to make sacrifices first so that they can reach their goal.


Thing No. 4 – There is bigger regret with the things you have not

done

I would have regretted if I did not get a college degree.


Thing No. 5 – I took it while I am younger, sharper, smarter,

stronger, quicker and healthier

If I had not pursued a university education, I will regret it later when it will be a little late to do so because I will be older, duller, weaker, slower and less healthy.


Thing No. 6 – Money, effort and time spent for a degree may be

recovered

If we analyse it well, the finances, energy and years we gave to get the higher education is not lost. Yes, you can never actually recover them but you open yourself to better opportunities for a better life.


Thing No. 7 – I cannot turn back time

When it will already be too late to go back to school and get a degree, I will regret not having it.


Thing No. 8 – I can always get another college degree

I can still get another college degree if I need one because I need or want to enter another career. My first college degree will not lose its value.


Thing No. 9 – Inflation

The cost of a college degree yesterday will be higher in the future. But the value of the educational qualification will not diminish. It is up to me to update my knowledge of the subject my degree and update myself.


Thing No. 10 – Education is a wealth that cannot be robbed

Some people who pretend to be clever will say that they will put the money they are supposed to spend for education to business. However, such business investments can fail to earn or even go bankrupt. Profits and savings can also be embezzled or outright lost to thieves. With education, you have an investment that will not go out of your safe keeping.
