Meet Rebecca HarveyRebecca is no stranger to caregiver roles. She had worked as a CNA previously and wanted to keep her CNA license active while still doing what she enjoys. So, of course, Rebecca came to the Fountains to do both! Rebecca was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri with two sisters, one older and one younger. Her mother is from Italy and one of ten children. She has a very large Italian family. After graduating from Longview College, Rebecca worked as a secretary in the Kansas City Commerce Towers’ management office for three years. She then accepted a job with ICSC, a computer systems company, and transferred to Los Angeles, so she could be near the ocean. After a few years, she moved

to Las Vegas and worked at the MGM Grand Hotel. She worked in gaming, after graduating from Nevada’s Gaming School as a Black Jack dealer. After marrying her husband, Steve, Rebecca worked in handling all the city-wide convention reservations for the hotel. The couple later moved to Branson, Missouri, where she worked for Mel Tillis at his theater. Then Steve’s job as a professional musician brought the couple to Nashville, and Rebecca went to work for St. Thomas Hospital as a CNA. Rebecca and Steve have been happily married for 37 years. They have two horses, Cheyenne and Drifter, as well as cats and dogs. This spring Rebecca is raising eight baby chicks. Rebecca loves to horseback ride. She also enjoys songwriting, as she is an ASCAP songwriting member, and she writes for JCT. H Publishing. Rebecca says that she has had many great jobs. She had a very fascinating time working in Las Vegas with all the celebrities, but working with all the Fountains’ residents is just as much fun!
