An absolute pleasure, everyone worked so hard to make it happen!! We had loads of comments and I have to agree whole heartedly that the musicians ability to interact with the children is outstanding!!
Both the school and nursery had a fantastic time and the children from school were so excited on the bus on the way home and sang all the way.

A Creative Learning Project for Key Stage 2The Lancashire Sinfonietta have created a special project for schools to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.
As the ship sank, heroic Lancashire violinist, Wallace Hartley, played to the very end...
Give your pupils the opportunity to experience and engage with this story in an exciting and stimulating way. Facilitated by the amazing musicians of the Lancashire Sinfonietta, students will explore their own musical potential as they create their own piece of music retelling the story of the Titanic.
The project will run over 3 days, building up towards a final memorable public performance.
WorkshopsSchools will work alongside professional musicians during 3 half-day workshop sessions. The project is ideally suited to be run in parallel with clusters of local primary schools.
