This is the Basic Workshop of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies (FSS), and the prerequisite for all FSS workshops and training courses. During this experiential workshop, participants are introduced to core shamanism, the universal and near-universal methods of the shaman to enter non-ordinary reality for problem solving, well-being, and healing. Particular emphasis is put on the classic shamanic journey, one of the most remarkable visionary methods used by humankind to explore the hidden universe otherwise known mainly through myth and dream.

Participants in this workshop should bring a notebook and pen to record your experiences, a bandanna or eye mask to cover your eyes, and a drum or rattle if you have one. Also, please bring a rough-surfaced rock about the size of a grapefruit.
