The state-of-the-art touchscreen infotainment system and multi-function console will let you lean back and take control effortlessly. Dream about your next milestone while cruise control maintains a steady speed during those leisurely long drives. Face the race ahead with the leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel. And to make parking an elegant performance, the New Vento is now equipped with a reverse parking camera. Its features like these that make the New Vento a car as ready as you.

INTERIOR

STEP INTOTHE NEW WORLD.Let the world take a backseat as the new you take control of the car.

The flat-bottom, multi-function steering wheel1 comes with *voice command controls and the climatronic air-conditioning lets you rule over the internal environment. The cooled glovebox6 keeps your drink cold during those long journeys while cruise control5 maintains a steady speed. To ensure a safer drive, the New Vento is also equipped with auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror2 to automatically reduce the glare from trailing vehicles.

Drive with the comforts of luxurious upholstered seats and a height-adjustment lever on the drivers side. For the passengers at the back, comfort is never too far. A foldable armrest, rear air-conditioning vents4 and a convenient cup holder make the journey relaxing, for all. The New Vento is equipped with an intelligent rain sensor7 to automatically signal the wipers at the sense of any rain. Perfect for those moments when you’re faced with a sudden downpour.

And on congested streets or multi-level parking spaces, the reverse parking camera3 on the dashboard will help you park the car with ease.

FOR THEBIGGER JOURNEYSAND NEW STORIES.Pack more than you need for, you never know where your next journey will take you. Comfortably load your luggage into the voluminously spaced 494-litre trunk1 using the illuminated low-loading height boot.

The interiors are fitted with a concealed

mobile phone holder under the front armrest2, a bottle holder3 on every door and a cup holder4 next to the driver; giving you easy access, even to those smaller needs.

POWER TOGO FURTHER.

At the centre of the machine lies the revolutionary 1.2L TSI engine. Giving you 105 PS of raw power and 175 Nm of torque. But, what really outclasses the masses is the first-in-class 7-speed automatic dual-shift gearbox1, which ensures a smoother drive as the engine effortlessly switches gears.

And if diesel is your preferred choice of power, we also have the mighty 1.5L TDI engine with the same 7-speed automatic DSG transmission. More importantly, with a fuel consumption of 18.19 kilometres/litre (TSI) and 22.15 kilometres/litre (TDI), it gives you maximum power with minimum consumption.

Also available in a 1.6L petrol MPI engine.

EVERYDIFFICULT ROAD IS STILL THESAFEST ROAD.

Safety has always been an integral aspect at Volkswagen and is central to the New Vento.

The Electronic Stabilisation Programme4 (ESP), with Anti-lock Braking System3 (ABS) will make sure you’re in firm control on slippery roads or during heavy braking. On facing a steep incline, the Hill-hold5 function will prevent the car from rolling backwards. The anti-pinch technology6 will stop the windows from closing, on sensing even the slightest obstacle. Being equipped with dual front airbags2 as standard, rear parking sensors as well as a reverse parking camera1, we make sure safety is an all round affair. And to always keep the car with its beloved owner, the New Vento has an electronic immobiliser anti-theft device as standard.

Or 2 years and up to1,00,000 kilometres from the date of sale (whichever is earlier). Extended warranty can bepurchased within standard warranty period only. All this, to protect your car againstthe defects of most mechanical and electrical components due to manufacturing defects.All periodic maintenance at recommended intervals and warranty work must becompleted by an authorised Volkswagen dealer.

3-year Paint Warranty and 6-year Anti-perforation Warranty: The paintwork of theNew Vento is covered against manufacturing defects for a period up to 3 years andthe vehicle body parts for a period of 6 years from the date of sale against perforationcaused by corrosion. Naturally, the New Vento must be cared for in compliance withthe operating instructions, which will be found in your vehicle handbook, and all bodyrepairs must be done at an authorised Volkswagen dealer.

Volkswagen Roadside Assistance: Every new car is registered for Volkswagen IndiaRoadside Assistance for 2 years from its date of sale. This provides the vehicle withhome and roadside recovery in the unlikely event of a breakdown anywhere in India(subject to terms and conditions).
