The Truckload Carriers Association Scholarship Fund

IntroductionMillion Mile Drivers award-winning company Tri-

National, Inc., is a trucking transportation business based in Earth City, Missouri. In addition to winning an award for its safe driving practices, Tri-National Inc., is also a member of the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA), which sponsors a scholarship fund for a subset of full-time college students.

Each semester, the TCA awards between $2,000 and $6,250 to qualifying students. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must be an employee or independent contractor with a company that is a member of the TCA, or the spouse, child, or grandchild of an employee of such a company.

Truckload Carriers AssociationAdditional eligibility standards require that the

student maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, pursue a full-time academic schedule, and demonstrate a financial need. The scholarship can only be used to cover the cost of tuition. The scholarship automatically renews the second semester if the student maintains a high level of scholastic achievement.
