The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum is one of the world’s largest museums of Western heritage and art. Believing that the museum should have a national influence beyond that of the exhibit hall, the Board of Directors began the Western Heritage Award program in 1960 to encourage others to tell the great stories of the West, with accuracy and highest artistic quality.

The Western Heritage Awards’ “Wrangler” trophies are bronze replicas of a Charles M. Russell sculpture. This magnificent art, more than 13” tall on its polished wood base is awarded to the winning entries in specified categories of Western literature, music, film and television during the annual awards ceremonies.

The mascot for Western Jubilee Recording Company since 1996. Though not planning on going anywhere soon, promised not to leave this cool truck to the family.

Purchased new around 1950 by Jack Warner/and Warner Brothers with double rear lifts and the last of his 10 truck White fleet used in movie productions for many years. It was next purchased by Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio where the truck’s usages included on camera appearances in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Purchased from Melody Ranch, Western Jubilee converted the old stake bed to a 20’ x 8’ rolling stage which has been used for many concerts as well as Brad Paisley in the Extreme Makeover, Home Edition television program. Other Hoot Truck usages include: Parades, Album Covers, Publications, TV, Movies, Cattle Drives and more.
