THE THREE GOATSRETOLD BYBEN BIDOIS

There were three goats.They had no grass to eat.

Across the river was some grass. There was a bridge over the river. Under the bridge was a troll.

The little goat went over the bridge.

The middle goat went over the bridge.

The big goat went over the bridge.

The goats ate the grass across the river.

First the little goat crossed the bridge.

Secondly, the middle goat crossed the bridge.

Thirdly, the big goat crossed the bridge.

The goats enjoyed the grass across the river.

They were starving because they had no grass to eat.

The little goat was the first to walk across the bridge.

The big goat was the last to rush across the bridge. He pushed the troll out of his way.

All the goats happily munched the grass together.
