Firstly a big welcome to all of you, to our Scouttastic event and from everything I have seen – what a weekend it will be! If there is not something for everyone I will be amazed! This is the follow on to our fantastic day event in May last year which celebrated 75 years of Scouting in South Yorkshire. It is a fun packed weekend from dawn to dusk and to be honest I am not sure when you will fit the sleeping part in – but I suppose that can always be caught up with afterwards.

I hope you enjoy your camp here

at Hesley Wood, our County site and that the weather stays kind. It is the one thing we cannot book in advance and be 100% sure of getting but we will continue as true Scouts no matter what. I am sure you will have a great time and will join me in saying a big thanks to the organising team who have spent 12 months planning this event ever since the Day event – but let’s get on now and enjoy the fun!

TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT TO PARTY!

Catch a Punch and Judy show tonight, for all

the fun of a traditional puppet show!

Tonight’s activities start at 7pm - and you can catch the cheesy disco until 11pm tonight in the main arena, but that’s not all - don’t miss all the fun of the fair, in town for one night only!

We’ve got Waltzers, Twister, Dodgems, Miami, Caterpillar, action rides, a giant slide, hook a duck, parachute & ski jump - not forgetting oodles of popcorn and candy floss!
