Question
Why do so many people who try to read through
the Bible, get stuck HERE?
Question
Why did the Israelitesstart to complain?
The Lord is looking for followers who will passionately honor
and trust Him
Israel’s constant grumbling elicits God’s wrath.
Israel evaluated God’s commands according to their limited perspective,
disobeying God and refusing to take the land, condemning an entire
generation to death in the desert.
Moses’ years of faithful obedience did not give him license to disobey,
even once. Our ability to live faithfully before
the Lord is directly tied to our constantly remembering
God’s Word.
There are three things that have to be worked out in order for God to dwell amongst us:
1. There have to be guidelines for how you treat me and how you treat each other.
2. I need a place to stay.3. Sin must be atoned for.
