 Kate Chopin is an American author of Short stories & novels (awaking).She born (Feb, 8 1851-Aug 22, 1904). Chopin wrote short Stories for both children & adults .she was not famous in her lifetime, her books were not published. 50years after her death, people started published her works. She was called the ancestor of feminism author of 20th century.

 1. Mrs. .Louis Mallard : She is the heroin of the story .she is imprison after her marriage and feces a difficult life with her husband. Mrs. Mallard waits any chance to be free .
