This story highlights the ongoing pervasive

influence of the army and its commanders'

abilities to profit from the country's

opening up at the expense of local people

and the environment. The headline, An

Army, a Mountain and the ADB, sums it up

beautifully.

This was a very timely piece of reporting

on an important topic, and pulled the veil
