The Short Story of the Black Box

The Black Box who wanted to become a flower

There was once a little black box who thought She was ugly. Her shape was unoriginal and trivial. She wanted more. She wanted to be admired. She wanted to feel beautiful. She wanted to be different. So She decided She wants to become a flower.

She decided that the best way to become a flower is to become first a black sheet of paper. So She blew and She blew and She blew until She removed all her air. She ended up as a small perfect square. She was happy. She was not a blank piece of paper but She could start looking for Her perfect flower shape.

She then started to fold herself in any possible ways She could think of. A triangle, a square, again a triangle, forms and shapes.

She turned, and turned and folded again. Here an edge, there a small corned. She was having fun.

After many foldings and turns and twists She took a look at herself and discovered she was not a beautiful Iris Flower. She did it. She had changed Her shape. She was now the person She wanted to be. And She did it all by herself.

Few pieces of jewelry thought She was too beautiful not to want to join Her. So they found home on Her petals.

Seeing the jewelry, a ribbon wanted to be with them so she tied itself to the tail of the former black box, now an elegant and refined Iris flower.
