CMC Bulletin Board YOUTH LUNCH – Join us today, after worship in the Fellowship Building for our Youth Lunch. The menu will be baked spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and dessert. A love offering will be collected to help the youth with their programs. WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP YARD SALE (October 27) – The Women’s Fellowship will be accepting donations for the Fall Yard Sale on the following dates in October from 1-3 PM in the Fellowship Building Basement manned by Becky Lanier and her helpers: Tuesday, October 16 Thursday, October 18 Tuesday, October 23 Thursday, October 25 We are NOT accepting CLOTHES, SHOES, APPLIANCES, TV’S OR COMPUTERS OR PRINTERS. If you are unable to come on any of these dates, you may call the church office at 336-722-2007 and arrange a time with Avis Gray to drop off your items. HOUSE OF WORSHIP SAFETY SEMINAR – The Southern Province PEC and Home Moravian Church are sponsoring a “House of Worship Safety Seminar” on Saturday, October 27, from 10 AM until 2:30 PM in the Home Moravian Church Sanctuary. This seminar is open to all church members and no registration is required. There will be a Picnic Potluck Lunch at noon in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring cold lunch items such as sandwiches, salads, chips and desserts. TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY - The Parables of Jesus -- Join Pastor Marcus during the month of October and November as he presents a weekday Bible Study entitled the Parables of Jesus. The parables we will be studying were delivered by Jesus in Galilee, the region where he grew up. During our time together, we will look at these parables that Jesus delivered during his last journey to Jerusalem and the cross. We will gather in the Fellowship Building at 10 AM for the study that should last around 45 minutes. A sign up sheet has been posted on the CHURCH FAMILY LIFE Bulletin Board.
