DEAR MEMBERS OF PLEASANT VIEW BAPTIST CHURCH: On behalf of myself and my family, I want to thank you for the many condolences and good wishes extended to me and my family. The funeral meal committee receives a very big “thank you” for the bountiful and deli-cious luncheon that was provided for my family and our many friends. Please accept my sincere thank you for all you have done for me and my family. Sincerely, Mezzy MacKenzie (Sharon Wooten’s mom) and Family
PERRYVILLE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: We will once again be providing meals for the football team for their home games. The dates we need help are: September 8th, 15th and 22nd, October 6th, and November 3rd. If you are interested in providing/helping with a meal, please contact Pastor Paul. Thank you!
CHILDREN’S CHOIRS: Salt Shakers and Little Lights choirs will resume Wednesday, September 6.
LADIES’ SOFTBALL: The ladies’ team will be practicing Monday evenings at 6 p.m. Sept. 11 through Oct. 30. Anyone 14 or older who may be interested in playing for the team next year is invited to join in!
LOVING OUR NEIGHBORS: We will be visiting neighbors in our local community on Saturday, September 16. If you would like to par-ticipate, please meet at the church at 8:00 a.m. for a short meeting, fol-lowed by visitation.
A Note from Pastor Phillips:
Thank you for coming to worship with us today. If you are a first-time visitor, I would sure like the opportunity to meet you and welcome you personally. Because I believe in a Sovereign God, I don’t believe anything happens by chance. I believe you were brought here today for a purpose. I would love to help you discover that purpose, and to see if there is any way we as a church can bless and minister to you and your family. Please stop by the Resource Center after the service so I can shake your hand. I’d sure count it a privilege. Pastor Harold
Thank you for joining us today for worship. Your presence was a blessing.
If you are interested in learning about church membership, we have a “First Steps” class which meets in room 122 at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday. It’s a great place to start!
If there is any way that our church can as-sist you or your family, please contact the office at 410-378-4476.
We pray that you have been blessed, and have found that coming to Pleasant View
Baptist Church is truly . . . like coming home.
Pleasant View Baptist Church is a smoke-free campus. We encourage you to re-frain from smoking while on the premis-es. If you must smoke while here, please do so in your car. If you have any ques-tions, please ask one of our Pastors.

Our public servants and first responders are facing more dangerous and uncertain times in their occupations these days. While we watch the news and shake our heads at the senseless acts of those who seemingly care only about making headlines, our men and women are out there on the front lines, putting themselves between us and danger.
Please pray for those in our church and church family members who are serving as police officers, firefighters and emergency medi-cal technicians. To add a name to this prayer list, please call the of-fice so we can support him/her in prayer. Thank you.
