ST MARGARET’S NATIONAL PILGRIMAGE 2018 Sunday 3 June in Dunfermline

The procession of the relics through the Royal Burgh will take place just after 2pm with Holy Mass being offered at 3pm in St Margaret’s Parish. In recent years, the event has proven to be a very happy and popular family day.

I would encourage you to attend. Thank you.

SPECIAL COLLECTION The Aged and Infirm Clergy Fund

The Aged and Infirm Clergy Fund of the Arch-diocese provides support for our 25 retired priests with one of the main sources of income for the fund being the amounts received from the Special Collections. The next collection will be taken up this weekend, 26th/27th May. Please remember to pray for those priests who have served us well and be as generous as you can. Gift Aid envelopes are available at the back of the church and if you pay tax please consider gift aiding your donation by completing one of the envelopes with your offering inside in the envelope.

ST MARGARET’S GARDEN CARE

After many year’s service to the parish, Ian Terris is to retire from parish gardening duties with all our grateful thanks. We are looking for a volunteer to take over. Primary tasks are cutting the grass and general tidying up. If you feel you can spare a few hours every two weeks through the growing months than please contact Fr Tad. Contact details are at the top of this Newsletter. All equipment & expenses fully paid. Thank you again Ian for all your work on our behalf.

Hopefully this will bring forward a willing volun-teer.

THE SACRED HEART NOVENA

The Novena to the Sacred Heart takes place from Thursday 31st May until Friday 8th June, 2018. A Novena prepares us over nine days to receive the graces of God special to a feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Leaflets with novena prayers are available at the back of the church and on our website.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

On this great feast of the Most Holy Trinity we commend to God our children who will receive their First Holy Communion today at St Marga-ret’s Church at the 9:30 am Mass. May God the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, give them and their families a great de-votion and love for the Eucharist.

First Holy Communion at Sacred Heart Church will be celebrated next Sunday at the 11:00am Mass.
