KEY OPERATIONS

POWERPress POWER button to turn on the unit and enter [Radio mode], press again to turn off.

Selecting Radio BANDIn [Radio mode], press BAND button to choose FM, AM or SW1, SW2 listening. Scroll up/down on tuning buttons to tune into your radio station. To select WB station for your area. Scroll up/down tuning buttons until you hear weather information for your area.

Note: When listening to SW1, SW2, the band indicator will remain "AM".

SW1: 5.6 - 10.00 MHz

SW2: 11.0 - 18.0MHz (5k tuning step)

VOL / VOL Press VOL / to increase/decrease volume level, press and hold to speed up adjustment.

TUNING / TUNING In [Radio mode], press TUNING / to adjust frequency, press and hold it to auto tune into the next available station.

LIGHT OperationPress LIGHT button once to turn on the flashlight, press it again to turn off. When the flashlight is on, hold down the LIGHT button to dim/brighten the flashlight. Press the LIGHT button twice quickly to turn on the red emergency lights, press it twice again to turn off.

CELL Phone ChargingPlug your phone’s USB charging cable into the USB out port on the FRX4 and plug the other end into your phone. Press the CELL phone charger button to start

charging, a USB symbol appears in the display. Press it again to stop charging and the symbol will disappear.

Note: Radio performance may be degraded while using the USB input or output

charging feature. The audio from weak radio stations may no longer come in

clearly.

FRX4 POWER OPTIONS

1000 mAh Lithium BatteryCharge the lithium battery via the included micro-USB cable. Both the solar panel and the crank will automatically charge to the lithium battery.

Solar ChargingWhen placed in sunlight, it will automatically start charging the lithium battery. Battery light indicator will show unit is charging. Fully charges the battery in 5-6 hours.

Crank ChargingCrank for 4 minutes to get 1 minute of talk time on most smart phones or 10-15 minutes of radio time.

AAA BatteriesTakes 3 AAA batteries. Use a coin to open battery compartment. Insert as shown on the battery holder and re-seal compartment.

Note: FRX4 will run on Lithium battery until it runs out and then will automatically

switch to AAA batteries if loaded.

SETTING CLOCK1. With the unit off, press and hold BAND button until

the clock begins to flash.2. Adjust the hours using the VOL / buttons.

3. Adjust the minutes using the TUNING / buttons.4. If no buttons are pressed within 5 seconds the unit

will return to normal operations

SETTING ALARM1. With unit off press and hold the BAND button until

the clock begins to flash.2. Press and release BAND button again, a bell icon will

appear in the display. 3. Adjust the hours using the VOL / buttons.4. Adjust the minutes using the TUNING / buttons.5. If no buttons are pressed within 5 seconds the unit

will return to normal operation.

ACTIVATING THE ALARM1. With the unit off, press and release the BAND button,

a bell icon will appear on the display.2. To Deactivate the alarm, with the unit off, press and

release the BAND button, there will no longer be a bell icon on the display.

Silencing the Alarm3. Press any button on the radio.

TROUBLE-SHOOTINGIf the unit becomes unresponsive, press the RESET button with a paper clip to reset. If you are having further problems please contact us.

FONCTIONS DES TOUCHES

ALIMENTATIONAppuyez sur le bouton POWER pour mettre l’appareil en marche et entrez [mode Radio], appuyez à nouveau pour éteindre.

Sélectionner la bande RadioEn [Mode Radio], appuyez sur la touche BAND pour choisir d’écouter FM, AM ou SW1, SW2. Faites défiler vers le haut/bas les touches de syntonisation pour vous brancher sur votre station de radio. Pour sélectionner la station de la chaine météo (WB) de votre région. Faites défiler vers le haut/bas les touches de syntonisation jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez les informations météorologiques de votre région.

Remarque : Lorsque vous écoutez SW1, SW2, l’indicateur de bande reste « AM ».

SW1 : 5,6 à 10,00 MHz

SW2 : 11,0 à 18,00 Mhz (pas de syntonisation de 5k)

VOL / VOL Appuyez sur VOL / pour augmenter/diminuer le niveau du volume sonore, appuyez et maintenez pour accélérer le réglage.

TUNING / TUNING En [Mode Radio], appuyez sur TUNING / pour régler la fréquence, appuyez et maintenez-le jusqu’à Auto-tune (réglage automatique) dans la prochaine station disponible.

Fonction LUMIEREAppuyez sur LIGHT une fois pour allumer la lampe de poche, appuyez à nouveau pour l’éteindre. Lorsque la lampe de poche est activée, maintenez le bouton LIGHT enfoncé pour baisser/augmenter la puissance de la lumière de la lampe de poche. Appuyez sur la touche

LIGHT deux fois rapidement pour allumer la balise rouge d’urgence, appuyez deux fois à nouveau pour éteindre.

Chargement de téléphone cellulaireBranchez le câble de chargement USB de votre téléphone dans le port de sortie USB sur la FRX4 et branchez l’autre extrémité sur votre téléphone. Appuyez sur la touche de chargeur de téléphone portable CELL pour commencer à charger, un symbole USB apparait sur l’écran. Appuyez à nouveau pour arrêter le chargement et le symbole disparaît.

Remarque : La qualité de la réception peut diminuer lorsque la fonction de

rechargement par l'entrée ou la sortie USB est utilisée. Le son des stations de

radio dont le signal est faible peut alors ne pas être tout à fait net.

OPTIONS D’ALIMENTATION DU FRX4

Pile au lithium 1000 mAhChargez la pile au lithium via le câble micro-USB fourni. Le panneau solaire et la manivelle rechargeront automatiquement la batterie au lithium.

Chargement solaireLorsque la radio est placée en plein soleil, elle démarrera automatiquement le chargement de la batterie au lithium. Le témoin lumineux de la batterie indique que l’appareil est en charge. Charge entièrement la batterie en 5-6 heures.

Manivelle de chargementTournez la manivelle pendant 4 minutes permet d’obtenir 1 minute de temps de conversation sur la plupart des Smartphones, ou 10 à 15 minutes de temps d’écoute de la radio.

Piles AAAPrenez 3 piles AAA. Utilisez une pièce de monnaie pour ouvrir le compartiment des piles. Insérez comme indiqué sur la porte du compartiment de la batterie et refermez.

Remarque : FRX4 fonctionne sur les piles au Lithium jusqu’ˆ ce qu’elles s’épuisent

et passe ensuite automatiquement aux piles AAA si elles sont chargées.

FUNCIONES PRINCIPALES

ENCENDIDOPresione el botón POWER para prender el dispositivo e ingresar al [modo Radio], presione nuevamente para apagarlo.

Selección de la BANDA de radioEn el [modo Radio], presione el botón BAND para elegir entre FM, AM, OC1, OC2 (onda corta). Deslícese hacia arriba o hacia abajo con los botones para sintonizar la estación de radio deseada. Para seleccionar una banda con informe meteorológico en su área, deslícese hacia arriba o hacia abajo con los botones de sintonización hasta que escuche la información climática de su área.

Nota: Cuando escuche OC1, OC2, el indicador de la banda se mantendrá en “AM”.

OC1: 5.6 - 10.00 MHz

OC2: 11.0 - 18.0MHz (paso de sintonía 5k)

VOL / VOL Presione VOL / para aumentar o disminuir el nivel del volumen, presione y mantenga para acelerar el proceso de ajuste.

TUNING / TUNING En [modo Radio] presione TUNING / para ajustar la frecuencia, presione y mantenga para sintonizar automáticamente la siguiente estación disponible.

Función del botón LIGHTPresione el botón LIGHT una vez para prender la linterna, presiónelo nuevamente para apagarla. Cuando la linterna esté prendida, mantenga presionado el botón LIGHT para aumentar o disminuir el brillo de la linterna. Presione el botón LIGHT dos veces rápidamente para prender

las luces de emergencia rojas, presiónelo dos veces nuevamente para apagarlas.

Carga del teléfono CELULAREnchufe el cable USB del teléfono al puerto de salida USB en la FRX4 y enchufe el otro extremo en su teléfono. Presione el botón CELL de carga del teléfono celular para comenzar la carga, aparecerá un símbolo de USB en la pantalla. Presiónelo nuevamente para frenar la carga y el símbolo desaparecerá.

Nota: El rendimiento de la radio podría mermarse mientras se utiliza la

característica de carga de entrada o salida USB. El sonido de emisoras de radio

débiles podría dejar de producirse con claridad.

OPCIONES DE ALIMENTACIÓN DE LA FRX4

Batería De litio de 1000 mAhCargue la batería de litio mediante el cable de micro USB incluido. Tanto el panel solar como el dínamo cargarán la batería de litio automáticamente.

Carga solarCuando se lo coloca al sol, la batería de litio comenzará a cargarse automáticamente. El indicador de luz de la batería mostrará que el dispositivo se está cargando. La batería se carga por completo en 5 o 6 horas.

Carga a dínamoGire el dínamo 4 minutos para poder hablar por 1 minuto en la mayoría de los Smartphones o de 10 a 15 minutos para escuchar la radio.

Baterías AAALleva 3 baterías AAA. Utilice una moneda para abrir el compartimento de la batería. Insértela como se muestra en el soporte y vuelva a sellar el compartimento.

Nota: la FRX4 funcionará con batería de litio hasta que se descargue y luego

pasará automáticamente a las baterías AAA, si están cargadas.

CONFIGURACIÓN DEL RELOJ1. Con el dispositivo apagado, presione y mantenga el

TASTENFUNKTIONEN

AN- / AUSSCHALTEN (POWER)Zum Einschalten des Gerätes und um Einstellungen [Radiobetrieb] vorzunehmen, müssen Sie die POWER-Taste drücken und zum Ausschalten erneut.

Einstellen des SendefrequenzbandesDrücken Sie im [Radiobetrieb] die BAND-Taste und wählen Sie zwischen den Frequenzbändern FM, MW und SW1 bzw. SW2. Drehen Sie den Drehregler für die Senderwahl nach oben oder unten, bis Sie den gewünschten Sender gefunden haben.

Auswahl des regionalen Wetterdienstes Drehen Sie den Drehregler für die Senderwahl nach oben oder unten, bis Sie die Wettermeldungen für Ihre Region empfangen.

Hinweis: Beim Empfang von Kurzwellensendern der Frequenzbänder SW1 und

SW2 bleibt die Anzeige bei “MW”.

SW1: 5,6 - 10,00 MHz

SW2: 11,0 - 18,0MHz (5k Suchschritte)

Einstellen der Lautstärke (VOL / VOL ) Drücken Sie die Tasten VOL / , um die Lautstärke zu verringern bzw. zu erhöhen, durch gedrückt Halten der Taste lässt sich der Einstellvorgang beschleunigen.

SENDERSUCHE (TUNING / TUNING ) Drücken Sie zum Einstellen der Frequenz im [Radiobetrieb] die Tasten mit der Aufschrift TUNING / und halten Sie sie gedrückt, um den nächsten zu empfangenden Sender automatisch einzustellen.

TASCHENLAMPENFUNKTIONDrücken Sie die LIGHT-Taste einmal, um die Taschenlampe einzuschalten und ein weiteres Mal, um sie auszuschalten. Halten Sie die LIGHT-Taste bei eingeschalteter Taschenlampe gedrückt, um die Leuchtkraft zu senken / erhöhen. Drücken Sie die LIGHT-Taste zweimal schnell hintereinander, um das rote Notlicht ein-, und erneut zweimal, um es wieder auszuschalten.

Aufladen von MobiltelefonenStecken Sie das USB-Ladekabel Ihres Mobiltelefons in den USB-Anschluss des FRX4 und verbinden Sie das andere Ende mit Ihrem Mobiltelefon. Drücken Sie die Mobiltelefonladetaste (CELL), um den Ladevorgang auszulösen. In der Anzeige erscheint ein USB-Symbol. Durch erneutes Drücken der Taste wird der Vorgang beendet, und das Symbol erlischt.

Hinweis: Die Empfangsleistung des Radios kann während der Verwendung des

USB-Eingangs oder USB-Ladeausgangs sinken. Das Signal von schwächeren

Radiosendern könnte eventuell nicht mehr klar empfangen werden.

FRX4-STROMVERSORGUNG

1.000 mAh-Lithium-AkkumulatorLaden Sie die den Lithium-Akku mithilfe des im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Micro-USB-Kabels auf. Sowohl durch den Sonnenkollektor als auch mit der Kurbel wird der Lithium-Akku automatisch aufgeladen.

Aufladen durch SonnenlichtDer Ladevorgang für den Lithium-Akku beginnt automatisch, sobald Sonnenlicht auf den Kollektor fällt. Die Leuchtanzeige für die Batterie zeigt an, dass das

Gerät aufgeladen wird. Nach 5 bis 6 Stunden ist der Akkumulator vollständig aufgeladen.

Aufladen durch Kurbeln4 Minuten Kurbeln bringt bei den meisten Mobilfunkgeräten 1 Minute Sprechzeit oder 10 bis 15 Minuten Radiobetrieb.

Batterien vom Typ AAABenötigt werden 3 AAA-Batterien Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach mithilfe einer Münze. Setzen Sie die Batterien wie auf der Batteriehalterung dargestellt ein und verschließen Sie das Fach wieder dicht.

Hinweis: Das FRX4 wird solange mithilfe des Lithium-Akkus betrieben, bis dieser

leer ist, dann schaltet es automatisch auf Batteriebetrieb um, wenn sich Batterien

im Batteriefach befinden.

STELLEN DER UHR1. Halten Sie die BAND-Taste bei ausgeschaltetem

Radio so lange gedrückt, bis die Zeitanzeige zu blinken beginnt.

2. Stellen Sie die Stunde mithilfe der Tasten VOL / ein.

3. Stellen Sie die Minuten mithilfe der Tasten TUNING / ein.

4. Wenn nach 5 Sekunden keine Taste betätigt wurde, kehrt das Gerät in den Normalbetrieb zurück.

EINSTELLEN DER WECKZEIT1. Halten Sie die BAND-Taste bei ausgeschaltetem

Radio so lange gedrückt, bis die Zeitanzeige zu blinken beginnt.

EINSCHALTEN DES WECKERS1. Drücken Sie bei ausgeschaltetem Radio kurz

die BAND-Taste und lassen Sie sie wieder los, anschließend erscheint in der Anzeige ein Glockensymbol.

2. Um den Alarm abzustellen, während das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist, drücken Sie den BAND-Knopf, und das Glocken-Icon verschwindet vom Display.

Stummschalten des Weckers3. Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste an dem Gerät.

FEHLERBEHEBUNGSollte das Gerät nicht mehr reagieren, betätigen Sie mithilfe einer Büroklammer die Rückstelltaste RESET. Bei weiterhin bestehenden Schwierigkeiten setzen Sie sich bitte mit uns in Verbindung.

FUNZIONI PRINCIPALI

ALIMENTAZIONEPremere il pulsante POWER (ALIMENTAZIONE) per accendere l’unità ed entrare in [modalità radio]. Premere nuovamente per spegnere.

Selezione della BANDA In [modalità radio], premere il pulsante BAND (BANDA) per selezionare l’ascolto FM, AM o SW1, SW2. Scorrere in su o in giù con i pulsanti della sintonia per sintonizzarsi sulla stazione radio preferita. Per selezionare la stazione di informazioni meteorologiche per la vostra zona, scorrere in su o in giù con i pulsanti della sintonia fino a sentire le informazioni meteo per la vostra zona.

Nota: Durante l’ascolto in SW1, SW2, l’indicatore della banda resterà su “AM”.

SW1: 5,6 - 10,00 MHz

SW2: 11,0 - 18,0 MHz (incremento di sintonia di 5 kHz)

PULSANTI VOL / VOL Premere i pulsanti VOL / per aumentare o diminuire il livello del volume, tenendo premuto per accelerare la regolazione.

PULSANTI TUNING / TUNING In [modalità radio], premere i pulsanti TUNING / (SINTONIA) per regolare la frequenza. Tenere premuti i pulsanti per auto sintonizzarsi sulla stazione successiva disponibile.

Funzioni del pulsante LIGHT Premere il pulsante LIGHT (TORCIA ELETTRICA) una volta per accendere la torcia elettrica e premerlo nuovamente per spegnerla. Quando la torcia è accesa, tenere premuto il pulsante LIGHT per ridurre o aumentare l’intensità luminosa. Premere due volte rapidamente il pulsante LIGHT per accendere le luci

di emergenza rosse e premere due volte di nuovo per spegnerle.

Pulsante CELL di ricarica del telefono cellulareCollegare il cavo di ricarica USB del telefono cellulare alla porta USB sulla radio FRX4 e collegare l’altra estremità al telefono. Premendo il pulsante CELL si avvia la ricarica del telefono cellulare e un simbolo USB appare sul display. Premendo nuovamente si interrompe la ricarica e il simbolo scompare.

Nota: La qualità della ricezione radio potrebbe abbassarsi durante l'utilizzo della

funzione di caricamento con l'ingresso o uscita USB. L'audio proveniente da

stazioni radio con segnale debole potrebbe cessare di essere chiaro.

OPZIONI DI ALIMENTAZIONE PER LA FRX4

Batteria al litio da 1000 mAh Caricare la batteria al litio tramite il cavo micro USB in dotazione. Sia il pannello solare che la manovella ricaricano automaticamente la batteria al litio.

Ricarica mediante pannello solareQuando la radio viene posta al sole, si avvierà automaticamente la ricarica della batteria al litio. L’accensione della luce dell’indicatore della batteria indicherà la ricarica dell’unità. La batteria si ricarica completamente in 5 - 6 ore.

Ricarica mediante manovellaGirare la manovella per 4 minuti per ottenere 1 minuto di conversazione sulla maggior parte degli smartphone o 10 - 15 minuti di radio.

Batterie AAA Sono necessarie 3 batterie AAA. Utilizzare una moneta per aprire il vano batterie. Inserire le batterie come indicato sul supporto della batteria e richiudere il vano.

Nota: la radio FRX4 funziona con la batteria al litio fino a che è carica per poi

passare automaticamente alle batterie AAA se inserite.

IMPOSTAZIONE DELL’OROLOGIO1. Con l’unità spenta, tenere premuto il pulsante BAND

fino a quando l’orologio non comincia a lampeggiare. 2. Regolare le ore con i pulsanti VOL / . 3. Regolare i minuti con i pulsanti TUNING / . 4. Se non si preme alcun pulsante entro 5 secondi

l’unità ritorna al funzionamento normale.
