Upper Reach is a highly visible program of environmental education and recreational activities within the Roanoke River Basin Association.

Designed specifically to integrate paddling, hiking and bicycling, Upper Reach will provide interpretive educational enhancements and support facilities to existing hiking trails and blueways within the Roanoke River Basin and Lake Country region.

Coupled with aggressive event programming and classroom outreach, Upper Reach will help to transform the environmental awareness within the region and help to foster a sustainable eco-tourism industry.
