The Radley Place

In To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee uses a great deal of descriptivelanguage. Throughout the first section of the novel, there are manyplaces where the Radley place is described in detail.

The Assignment:

Using descriptive passages from the novel, draw the Radley place indetail. You will find descriptions of the house on the following pages:8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 33, 52, and 53.

Requirements: Create a detailed COLOURED drawing of the Radley house and

yard. Include 15 quotes from the novel that describe various aspects of

the house and yard. You may put the quotes on the back of yourdrawing, on a separate sheet, or creatively incorporate them intoyour illustration.

This is an individual assignment.
