The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Page 2: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

The gauntlet has been thrown down; Loki’s made the challenge to the Olympian gods. The next move is theirs. Will they fight or will

they flee?

Are the newly grown children of generation seven really knowing what they’re coming into?

Page 3: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Iolaus held his oldest child as she squirmed in his arms. Tonight was her birthday and soon she would be heading to school. Though Iolaus was still unclear about what that really meant because in his time, school meant that it was only for the children of the rich kings and nobles. Those in his class, the lower class, had one option; go to Chiron’s

Academy for Heroes to train to become soldiers for those same kings and nobles. You were taught how to fight and how to kill not how to read or write. You had to be lucky and rich to get such luxuries as

reading and writing.

Page 4: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Sometimes it was difficult for him to let go of his past and remember that he now lived in this time, he made an income and it was not based

on how well he shot an arrow or handled a sword, nor how many enemies and thugs he could dispose of for a king or rich merchant who was being plagued by them. He was paid for seating people at a fancy high class restaurant, it was strange but satisfying to know he didn’t

have to kill anyone for a pay check. Even though some nights he’d lay awake in bed or just stare at the stars on his break and wonder what it

would be like to train a son to be handy with a weapon; to pass on something he was taught by Chiron. That training saved him from a life

of crime, as well as having Hercules as a best friend.

Page 5: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

But still though, some of the best fighters at Chiron’s academy were women. Amazons mostly however, so perhaps instead of training a son,

he could train a daughter just as well…

Ilea smiled; now that she was bigger she could reach the cookie jar that grandma kept trying to hide from her and lord it over her little sister

who was still too small to reach it herself. She knew that it would be fun to be the boss around here.

Page 6: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Said little sister is the second born from the main line; another blond haired, blue eyed girl named Aegina. She too had her daddy’s blue

eyes. Aegina was soon followed by her other cousin…

Page 7: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Ambrosia, like her brother has brown hair and her mother’s purple eyes. But today was also Aeson’s birthday. Ilea always thought of her cousin like a brother because as far back as she could remember he

was around.

Page 8: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Aeson got the cherry jello cake; it was Ilea’s favourite kind of cake. She knew Aeson would always let her have the second piece after

his.

Page 9: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Because two big kids running the place was always better than one. And they had little sisters now, it was kinda like their job to show them

who was the boss around here. They would have cousin Bell to join them soon as well, her mom said that he would be having a birthday

soon too.

Page 10: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Over at Xenon’s house…

Angelina missed Bell’s birthday again. Xenon told her to take the day off to be here for it, he was running out of reasons to give Bell when he asked why his mommy wasn’t here to see him grow up again. Xenon understood the need of his wife to become the top Entertainer in the

city but he didn’t want it to come at the expense of their son’s birthdays.

Page 11: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

If Castor and Dade could come for Bell’s birthday why couldn’t his own mother make it? Dade was already Hidden City’s top Mad Scientist,

though Dade preferred the term “eccentric” over mad; but sometimes Xenon wondered if mad was appropriate.

Page 12: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Bliss had to argue with Zeus to be allowed to come down to see his grandson grow up. And yet he still hadn’t told his kids what was going on up on Olympus. Pandora blew her horn the loudest, as she always

did at a party.

Page 13: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Xenon set his son down on the floor and like Xenon himself did at that age, he made sure to move his wings to test them out. Bell was already learning how to use them, at times he would be found just barely hovering off the ground when he was excited or happy; it

freaked Angelina out but Xenon couldn’t be more proud of his boy learning to hover so young. Atalanta made her brother promise not to shove her nephew off the balcony to force his wings to catch him;

she still resented that from when he did it to her as a teen.

Page 14: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Across town…

Solan: So Goderic, it’s nice to see you and all but next time would it kill you to call before showing up on our doorstep unannounced?

Goderic: Maybe, but this way it’s more fun.

Page 15: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Ginny sat down between them, she didn’t really care that her brother showed up whenever he felt like it, she would always be glad to see

him. And she knew from being married to Solan so long that he didn’t mind it either, they bonded like brothers early on.

They did love the synchronized hollering at the TV while watching football.

Page 16: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Minos, however wasn’t so sure about Goderic. He was a stranger to him as far as he was concerned. But his grandma said that he was family and you should always want to be with family. Minos didn’t see the

resemblance though, he had black hair and no one else on his side did as far as he knew.

Page 17: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Minos: Grandma says you’re my great uncle, why are you a great uncle and my other uncles are just regular ones?

Goderic: Because I’m your grandma’s brother.

Minos: I don’t get it. Why don’t I see you as family then?

Goderic: I have no idea kiddo.

Page 18: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Solan: He’s family alright. Trust me.

Minos: Sure grandpa.

Solan: Good lad.

Page 19: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

I took this to show that I “Encouraged” four more nice points into Minos from three of the four adults in the house simply because I am so tired of my randomizer being borked. His stats now: 6/1/8/9/5. So no more Icarus clone. Yay!! Took forever to do but it was so worth it.

Page 20: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

There will be a lot of kids around Hidden City this generation, such as Ilea and Aeson’s third cousin once removed Althea here. (Third because her mother is their grandmother’s cousin through Marc

Antony)

And free will interactions like this cuteness overload of Althea playing in a leaf pile.

Page 21: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Althea was aware enough to notice something wasn’t right, even at this young age. Her daddy wasn’t here, he promised he wouldn’t miss another one of her birthdays. She wanted to wait for him to come, but the sparkles wouldn’t be delayed any longer and she had to let them

take her.

Page 22: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

She could call him now, he would come. Tomorrow she would call him because now it was cake time.

Psyche looked around, in hopes she’d sense Aiden near by. He did promise Althea he would show up for all of her birthdays from now on…though in the back of her mind she had the terrible feeling that maybe he had a very good reason for not being here. Dalen knew he was back

from Exile…

Page 23: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

At Legacy Main, (or Phoenix 4 since it’s the fourth house they have lived in.)

Pandora: I just don’t understand how Angelina can miss two of Bell’s birthdays already. It’s not right and the poor boy is so broken up over

it.

Atalanta: Could you sound more old lady-ish mom?

Pandora: It just irks me that’s all.

Page 24: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Atalanta: I do understand she’s trying to become top Entertainer because gods know we need some entertainment around here. But kids are resilient mom,

they get over things quickly.

Pandora: I suppose, but it still seems sad to me. Your father never missed one your birthdays, for all six of you. And he was a half god at the time and dealing

with a sick Aphrodite.

Atalanta: Yeah. I know daddy was always here.

Page 25: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Iolaus: I agree, totally. She should be there for her son on all of his important days. A young man needs his parents to help him grow up right… I should know.

Atalanta: How so?

Iolaus: My dad was a general, he was always away at battle and I know I was a terrible son to my mother. I put her through so much, she didn’t deserve that. I had moments where I wished my dad was there for me. But all he did when he did see

me was ask why I wasn’t getting my life on track, why was I stealing and misbehaving all the time…and why I didn’t want to follow in his footsteps as a

general.

Page 26: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Atalanta: He wanted you to join the army?

Iolaus: Not just join it, lead his army at his side as his lieutenant. I didn’t want the life he led. So I rebelled, I did everything that I knew would piss him off and it

drove a wedge so deep between us it was never really fully repaired. My mother married a poet after he was killed in battle, leading the army in the name of Ares

against Athena’s army. I met up with him in the Asphodel Caverns once, I told you I had died a couple of times right? And he was still doing the same thing he did in life; discussing military strategies with the other dead generals there. He never

changed.

Atalanta: Wow, so if Bell grows up like you…

Iolaus: I’ll have to set him straight again. As his uncle it’s my duty.

Page 27: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Pandora: No you will not. It’s his father’s duty to raise him right, and I have every confidence in Xenon to do so. I will not have any grandchild of mine growing up in

an atmosphere of violence and death.

Iolaus: I didn’t mean to imply that Xenon can’t do it…I just…

Atalanta: I see. You wish you had son yourself instead of two daughters right?

Iolaus blanched; even in the heat of the hot tub it was clear. He really put his foot in his mouth…

There were more toddlers to toss over at the house of Pollux and his wife Jane. For the two Family sims this was their favourite stage of life, seeing the triplets learn new things and watching their little faces light up with delight at discovering something new, was heart warming for

the two young parents.

Eric, Aerin and Penny all decided to grow up at different times; making planning a synchronized transition impossible for their parents to enjoy.

Page 29: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Aerin (top left), Eric (below), and Penny (top left)

The boys got their father’s ears and little Penny missed out, which made me sad. I wanted a perfect set of three elf

eared triplets.

Aerin: Pisces 7/2/10/3/8Eric: Cancer 7/3/7/6/6

Penny: Sagittarius 10/3/3/10/9

But Aerin really turned out to be so adorable his siblings got Drinn’s eyes and he inherited the Reed green eyes

Page 30: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Ilea tried showing Chuffy again, this was way more difficult than she thought it would be.

Ilea: Like this see? I don’t want to do litter box duty so you have to learn how to go yourself.

Page 31: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Ilea: It’s easy see?

Chuffy blinked his green eyes at her, he wasn’t sure exactly what the small human was trying to show him, but it was sure amusing to watch

her.

Ilea: You don’t understand a word I’m saying do you?

The cat blinked again and cocked his head slightly, he understood the words…

Page 32: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Ilea: I’m talking to a cat…

Chuffy: And I hear you.

It was now Ilea’s turn to hear him. “Whoa…you can talk? But I thought only magic glowing cats could speak. My mommy told me about her friend Solan and his cat that could talk.”

Chuffy: You’re telling me…

Ilea: This is so cool!!!

Page 33: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

It seemed to Jade that this whole thing was never going to work. The two of them had

been arguing over the same thing again and again constantly for what seemed like

weeks to her.Ever since Loki delivered his end of the

bargain, Dalen and Talia had been hiding from Xylen. They had not delivered their

parts, and Xylen was angry. He was looking for them, and she knew it.

When she arrived at the Gateway House, it was her explicit mission to watch Dalen and Talia and for six generations she had been,

just as Nico and Akio told her to.

Jade was supposed to work secretly against Dalen and his plans to wipe out the legacy. She was meant to delay, obstruct and throw off the trail. She had done so, very well

actually. The only thing she hadn’t prevented was the death and

subsequent erasure of the entire second generation. Hestia was

supposed to survive, so were her other three children, if not for Reias pulling Dion out at the last minute…she didn’t want to remember that.So far Dalen hadn’t been wise to

her hidden powers as a simself, she had been pretty good at playing the

weak half god card, she used a little of that power when she

managed to keep Icarus from killing Atalanta. But it only ended up making Xylen even angrier.

Now as she stood there listening to Dalen and Talia try to argue their

way out of this mess, she was sorely tempted to tell him

everything. Jade hadn’t counted on actually falling in love with Dalen while she was living with him…

It made her feel guilty about keeping Dalen from Mokosh and

their children, she respected Mo a lot.

Page 34: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Talia: And why are we only discussing my sacrifice??!! Why should you get to keep your progeny safe? Huh?

Dalen: Because, I said so. That’s why.

Talia: You want me to bleed my Lyra dry to give her blood to Chaos? You’ve got an easier target to take out, take Hope’s kid!! I can’t touch

Lyra as long as she thinks Mokosh is her mother!! Zeus’s curse prevents me from getting near her!!

Page 35: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Dalen: Or I could kill you and give Chaos your blood.

Talia: I am Salvation; he can’t take blood from his Triad piece. Besides Love is a baby, easily overpowered, her blood is stronger because she’s

only a baby.

Dalen: Didn’t I say we’d be taking Lyra’s blood?

Talia: And I said no!! We can’t get near her.

Page 36: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Talia: And you have weaker grandchildren. Why aren’t we discussing them?

Dalen: Because I have my own plans for Aiden and Hope’s brats, particularly Callisto. She’s already estranged from her mother and she’s also got the blood of

the legacy line in her. You really think I want to give Xylen that much power?

Talia: What kind of plans?

Dalen: I’m not so sure I can trust you anymore sister; not if you keep arguing with me over Lyra.

Page 37: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Dalen: And if I can’t trust you, how can I tell you? You see my dilemma.

Talia: That hurts. Who has been with you all this time? Who was it that was by your side trying to destroy our wretched goody-good brother’s line?

Dalen smirked; “It was Jade. She has never betrayed me as you have.”

Talia: Oh please. Your half god whelp? She’s like a dog, beat her a few times and she still wags her tail whenever she sees you.

Page 38: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Dalen glanced at Jade; she looked highly offended at the dog statement. It amused him.

“Don’t tell me you’re jealous sister?”

Talia: Hardly. She’s not even half the woman I am.

Dalen: I see, you are. How adorable, I do love it when two women fight over me. But the decision stands, we’ll give Xylen Lyra’s blood…and Jade will get it for us.

Won’t you my dear?

Jade: Please…don’t make me kill her…

Page 39: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Dalen: Who said you get to have a conscience about this?

Jade: But I remember when she was born!! And you can’t possibly agree with this!! She’s your CHILD Talia!!

Talia: I…

Dalen: Jade you WILL kill Lyra and you WILL give her blood to me…or I’ll kill you instead.

Page 40: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Her conscience was indeed torn, but trying to fight Dalen on this wasn’t something she had the strength to do, without blowing her cover. So she had to

grin and bear it, the poor girl had no idea what was coming. Jade knew there had to be a way to spare Lyra’s life, it wasn’t her mission to protect Lyra, it was only her duty to help protect the legacy. Though she was very much aware that the

two ran parallel to one another, Lyra’s blood would give Xylen the power over the Olympian gods because of her connection to Ares through Talia, and if Xylen had that he would be one step closer to taking over. Jade couldn’t let Xylen get the control over the Olympians, the legacy was still not ready to take him on…she

had to delay and stall for time…even it would cost her life to do so.

Page 41: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Part B:

As Jade was wresting with her conscience, so was Reias. Zeus ordered him to bring Solan up to Olympus and said that it was Solan’s time to do his duty to the Olympians. Minos had just recently had a birthday and Reias didn’t want to pull his son away so soon afterwards. He would have at least liked to give Solan a moment to enjoy his grandson’s

birthday but Zeus’s command could not be denied. When Reias took over for Hades as the God of the Underworld, he became bound to the rules of one of the main Olympian gods; there was no disobeying the

King of the Gods. He wished desperately that Solan would never become tied to the same rules as he was, because Reias knew that it would be

the last time Solan ever saw his family if he did.

Dalen had managed to avoid being bound to the rules of servitude to Zeus only because of Chaos’s power. It was why Dalen could get away

with what he was doing. Dalen was still the God of War, one of the Twelve main gods.

Now Reias had to tear his son away from his family…he knew that it would probably make Solan hate him.

Page 42: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Solan: Hey so this is Olympus huh? It looks nothing like what I expected it to. I thought it would be all clouds and stuff.

Reias: Yes, it can be beautiful if you look at it the right way I suppose. I just never took the time to notice that’s all.

Solan: So how long do I have to stay here? Minos wants to show me his basketball skills, I promised him I’d be there.

Reias felt his throat tighten; he had to tell his son he wasn’t leaving here again…

Page 43: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

After Solan changed into what he would be wearing from now on, Reias took him into the Meeting Hall to tell him the bad news…

“So how do you like it here son?”

Solan: Kinda cool actually. Very, umm…white.

Reias: Yeah, I guess it is. I hoped you’d like it…

Solan stopped smiling; he felt the wave of blue coming off his father.

“Dad…what is it?”

Page 44: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

It changed to such a dark, intense blue Solan felt his eyes spring tears.

“Dad, what is it? Why are you so intensely blue?”

Reias: You…you won’t be seeing your family again for quite some time Solan…you won’t be leaving Olympus.

Solan: What…what are you talking about? Dad?

Reias: Zeus has ordered you to stay here, to stand in for Diamos.

Page 45: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Solan: Okay so just what in the HELL does that have to do with me never seeing my family again??!! You gods go down there all the time to see yours!!

Reias winced; “Zeus ordered you to be the one who keeps the gods from fighting with him about things like that…you’re essentially going to be the one

who has to control everyone else’s emotions to make them agreeable with Zeus…I’m so sorry son.”

Solan: The hell I am!! I didn’t agree to be the diffuser for every single god’s emotions!! YOU LIED TO ME!!

Page 46: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

The anger in his child’s voice shattered his heart; Solan never got this angry with him, ever. He knew this would not go well with him, but he never expected the fury of his full god son’s anger to shoot him in the

heart. It was a pain he never experienced before. He couldn’t speak; no words came to his lips, Solan was radiating with anger his golden green

eyes flared viciously. His power had increased exponentially since he took the ambrosia; Solan could project his own emotions on to others

now and double their effect.

Solan: How could you?

Page 47: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Reias: Solan…please…you’re hurting me. I didn’t want to do this to you, believe me I would never do such a terrible thing to my only child.

Solan: But you did, you did do this to your only child.

Reias: I am bound to obey him, ever since I took over my father’s position as God of the Dead.

Solan: So ripping my heart out was done just because you were following orders, like a good little soldier hmm? Did you even fight him on this? Did you even vouch for me?

What he said next broke Reias completely:

“Is this why you let my sister Callie die? Because you following orders then too?”

Page 48: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Solan turned away; “I thought so. Excuse me.”

Solan vanished; leaving Reias checking his pulse to see that his heart was actually still beating. The harsh, venomous words of his child felt

as though they killed him.

Page 49: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Solan reappeared on the roof of Olympus; the whistling of the wind helped him keep his cries of frustration, pain and anger from affecting

anyone below. He dealt his father a really low blow with his crack about Callie. He never met his sister; he had no idea what she even looked like. But he did still feel her somehow; he learned what happened to

her on one of the days when his father was in a mood to tell him.

He was still furious at him for conscripting him to this job; but more so at Zeus for forcing his father to do it to him.

Page 50: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

He sat down on the edge of the roof; and cried. If he had known he would never see Ginny, Cammy, Dahlia, his sons or Minos again he

would never have agreed to come up here in the first place. He didn’t want to be the switchboard for the heavy and intense emotions of the gods; he could barely contain his own godly emotions let alone those of eleven others. And then to hurt his father so deeply; he could feel his pain even up here and it compounded on top of his own grief and

anger.

Page 51: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Reias was never a bad father, he was an incredible one; to both him and Liam. He didn’t deserve that. If this was what he was capable of doing to his own father, how can he live with himself? How would his children feel if they knew how horrible and cruel he could be? There

was someone he could talk to about it, if anyone knew what it was like to have to leave one’s family; he did.

Page 52: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Solan: How do you handle it Bliss?

Bliss: What? Handle what?

Solan; Being away from your children and grandchildren? Being up here, stuck like I am now.

Bliss: I have to be discreet; stealthy. If Zeus knew I left to see Bell grow up I’d be in deep shit. But grandma has a way of making him forget stuff like that.

Page 53: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Solan: So Aphrodite covers for you? How?

Bliss: She’s the Goddess of Love buddy; the power of her voice can influence, coerce and hypnotize anyone who hears it. She just makes Zeus think I was

here the whole time, an implanted suggestion.

Solan: Would she do it for me if I asked her?

Page 54: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Bliss: Why? Are you planning an escape or something?

Solan: Do you know what Zeus wants me to do?

Bliss: No. What?

Solan: He wants me to manipulated everyone, all the gods, so they don’t disagree with him. That includes you and Aphrodite.

Page 55: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Bliss: And he honestly thinks you can control all of us?

Solan: It’s not beyond my powers to do so, I mean, I haven’t really tried to use them on such a large scale. Mostly I can control only one at a time…my dad

unfortunately proved that theory not too long ago. I hurt him badly, Bliss.

Bliss: Whoa. You got some serious power there, to affect Reias so much. Usually he’s the coolest cucumber up here.

Page 56: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Solan: I was angry at him. I thought he tricked me, used me and lied to me. But I just read his colours and he’s not hiding anything, he was telling the truth about not wanting to hurt me. But I didn’t see that; I projected such a strong beam of

hatred that I nearly killed him with it.

Bliss: You’re seriously scary dude. If you can do that, imagine… I don’t want to think about what you could do if provoked . Having a father that can kill with a

touch, it stands to reason you can kill with emotions just as easily.

Page 57: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Solan frowned; “ You’re not helping me feel any better Bliss. I know how dangerous I can be if I put enough intent behind it.”

Bliss: Well don’t project it at me, I was just making an observation. You seem to have a conscience about this so why not use it? Make Zeus understand you’re not

some tool to be used for his own personal gain.

Solan: He’s the King of the Gods, I don’t think I’m strong enough to control him.

Page 58: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Solan did try though; he requested a meeting with Zeus.

Zeus: Ah, come to offer your services have you? Good lad.

Solan: No, I wanted to decline actually. I won’t be used as a switchboard for you.

Zeus narrowed his icy grey eyes; “Who said you get a choice?”

Solan: Free will. I say I won’t be used by you.

Page 59: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Zeus: Only mortals have that privilege: you’re an Olympian god you obey me without question. You have no free will, not anymore. You ate the ambrosia, that

comes with a cost.

Solan suddenly felt the air drain out of his lungs; Zeus’s eyes remained stony. His finger glowed with the power of his lightning bolts; it was aimed right at his heart. The cold smile on his face proved his point. Solan wasn’t strong enough to control

Zeus.

“You are far too young and stupid to challenge me boy.”

Page 60: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Solan: Do you even have a soul? How can you treat people this way? As nothing but a means to an end!!

Zeus: Compassion is for the weak. I can’t be weak. You have two choices boy: follow or die. Choose well.

Solan: You’re a heartless bastard, you know that?

Zeus merely smiled; a cold smile and Solan could feel the waves of black coming off him.

In the Astral Realm, Diamos was once more trying to explain why it was a bad idea.

“Honey, you know you can’t mess with him like this. I didn’t teach you to be a teaser.”

Seiya: But daddy, I’m not teasing him!!

Page 62: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Diamos: Seiya, bringing him here while he dreams is not why you’re here. You are supposed to be working on your mother.

Seiya: But I can’t find mom!! Daddy I tried!! She’s hiding pretty well…even from me.

Diamos: Talia will make a move soon; I can sense it. I just need you to be clear headed and focussed when she does appear.

Seiya: But daddy, I like him…please?

Page 63: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Diamos: Alright baby girl. But please, his father is the son of someone I deeply respect and love don’t break his heart.

Seiya: I won’t; I promise.

Page 64: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Seiya: Hi. I umm…

He looked at her; “What?”

Seiya: I just missed you that’s all.

“Why do I ever only see you when I dream? Who are you?”

Page 65: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Seiya: My name is Seiya, I’m a-uh a goddess. I can only bring you here while you dream until you know who I am.

Minos looked at his dream girl; she was beautiful. Even when he’s awake and he tries to concentrate on his school work, her face always invades his mind. Her

amethyst purple eyes haunted his waking moments as well as his sleeping ones. His cousins thought he was crazy, always talking about this dream girl he’s never

met or whose name he didn’t know. Bell was still an immature kid, but he was growing fast and would soon join him at high school.

Page 66: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Minos kissed her; in hopes that now that he knew who she was that he could see her in real life. His First Kiss and he wasn’t even awake,

maybe that was a good thing…the way he was feeling right now. It was probably best that he wasn’t awake, it could be embarrassing…

Page 67: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Minos: Can I see you outside this place now Seiya?

Seiya: Yes, I can appear whenever I want to now. It’s kinda like an invitation into your Mortal Realm if you know my name. I couldn’t do it without one.

Minos: I look forward to it.

Page 68: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Meanwhile…

Lyra was bored out of her mind; exams were coming and she’d had enough studying. She needed a break, so he headed downtown to the

Crypto club. And she found someone almost immediately.

Page 69: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Lyra: Hey there, I don’t see you around these parts much.

Hephaestus had a feeling tonight would be a mistake; Zeus was particularly lightning bolt happy after his confrontation with Solan earlier. He headed out of there as soon as the rumblings started. His forge was his sacred spot, but he

ventured outside, hoping to remain invisible…to mortals anyway. He forgot half gods could see him too.

“I don’t get out much. Not that anyone would want to see me anyway.”

Page 70: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Lyra: Bad day?

Hephaestus: You could say that.

He let her take him into a dance, for some reason…her eyes were hypnotically beautiful and he found that he was transfixed by them.

Lyra: Yeah, me too. Exams uhh…mega boring.

Page 71: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Lyra: So what’s your name handsome?

Hephaestus: Hepha– just Hef is fine.

Lyra: Oh cute. It’s an unusual name.

Hephaestus: Never thought it was really. Why? Is it that strange?

Lyra: No, this is Greece after all right? My name’s Lyra.

Page 72: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

The song ended and Lyra suggested they sit down and get a bite to eat. She was completely oblivious to the odd stares of the townies around

her, after all to them it was as if she was talking to thin air. They couldn’t see Hephaestus. Lyra went on talking about school and her

roommate, and Hephaestus actually felt the corners of his mouth turn up into a small smile; he hadn’t done that since Aleidra was alive…

Page 73: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Lyra: Is the lobster no good? You don’t look so happy with it.

Hephaestus poked at the crustacean on his plate; seafood wasn’t really his thing.

“I’m not much of a seafood eater.”

Lyra: Want some of my omelette then?

Hephaestus: No, I’m not all that hungry actually.

Page 74: The Quest for Peace: Dark Moon Saga 3

Lyra: We could dance again if you want.

Hephaestus: No, if you’re hungry you can eat. I don’t mind.

Lyra: Kinda blah for a first date huh?

Hephaestus: Yeah…I should go really. I have things to do.

Lyra: Oh. Well can I get your number then?

Hephaestus: Number?

Lyra: Yeah, your cell. A phone number.

Hephaestus: Oh. No I don’t have one of those.

Lyra: How can you not have a phone? Or even a cell?

Hephaestus: I just don’t.

She looked slightly hurt. He felt a pang of guilt run through him.

“Umm, how about I come to you instead, like after your exam things?”

Lyra: Alright. Let me give you my number then.

Hephaestus: Sure.

Maybe it was time for him to move on, to chance opening his heart again…

Hephaestus may be onto something there. Lyra needs all the help she can get now that she’s been targeted for the blood offering to

Xylen; to help him get one step closer in his evil quest to destroy the pantheons of Earth. The question is; will Jade go through with it or

will she betray the God of War, her lover?

Now if you all would be so kind as to turn the page, I have some cuteness overload and pic spam.
