• Strong product and corporate messaging culminating in the development of the ‘We Live Our Investments’ slogan – now deployed as a fundamental aspect of Mirae Asset’s brand strategy.

• Redesigned the UK / HK websites to convey a strong and consistent brand identity, with supporting video, filmed and edited by Peregrine.

• High value, high impact media relations: corporate and fund manager profiles and guest articles, with media training for executives prior to interviews.

• A global brand-building advertising campaign across both print and digital in 2014/15.

RESULTS

OBJECTIVES

• To position the firm outside Switzerland to institutional and wholesale investors and raise its profile across Europe.

• Create a new brand image including: messages, logo, website, marketing collateral, social media platforms, print and digital advertising.

STRATEGY

• We work with the EI Sturdza team to create a new set of corporate messages.

• High-impact media opportunities for key portfolio management teams created across Europe.

• Design and develop the new website.

• Create print and digital adverts promoting the brand and the key funds.

• Arrange commercial collaborations for educational webcasts and video appearances which led to new business leads and content creation.

• Establish platforms for email newsletter distribution.

RESULTS

• Traffic referrals to the new website increased by more than 100% in the first six months since the website launch. 25% of the referrals came from the email newsletters created by Peregrine.

• More than 200 pieces of coverage achieved during the first year including regular commentary on the French bond market.

• Social media accounts were designed and set up from scratch. During the first six months key social media platforms have gained more than 200 followers.

• Educational webcasts generated more than 2,613 qualified sales leads in the first seven months of 2015.

The Fund appreciated 1.7% in May. With the completion of the US earnings season, market focus returned to the strength of the economy and to signs of any action to be taken by the US Federal Reserve. The Fed chair, Janet Yellen, artfully balanced her upbeat outlook for the US economy against concerns over potentially slower job growth and weakness in the housing market to signal that interest rates may remain lower for longer. The narrative from other senior Fed committee members was suitably dovish, tracking the mixed nature of data from the While the US economy shrank by 1.0% in the first three months of the year (the weakness largely due to the drawdown in inventories as companies chose not to restock in the face of extreme weather), May’s PMI for manufacturing increased at its fastest pace in nearly three years and suggests that economic growth should rebound over the second quarter. While many well known global risks remain to be fully resolved, the Investment Adviser believes that the outlook for US Equities will benefit from positive momentum of an improving and increasingly stable global financial system, low inflation, slow global economic growth, low interest rates and growing corporate earnings. The Investment Adviser considers that the valuation of the portfolio, given its growth profile at 18.3 times earnings, remain attractive in the current global economic environment in comparison to the wider market, (the S&P500 Index currently trades on a multiple of 17.7).

• Liaising with various teams at Brevan Howard (IR / technology /information security / compliance) in order to design the new websites to their specifications.

OBJECTIVES

• To design and produce the 2015 Annual Report for Euroclear, one of the principal clearing houses in the Euromarket.

• To resolve issues with the process from previous years and ensure delivery to multiple locations.

• The client was looking for more design input to improve the visual impact and the inclusion of graphics to highlight key messages.

STRATEGY

• Formulated a schedule in conjunction with stakeholders to ensure delivery of key information at the right time.

• Produced a series of initial concepts for the front end of the report to best present the complex business areas of Euroclear within the brand guidelines.

• Artworked the ‘back-end’ of the report and formatted 70-pages of text and accounts from Word into InDesign.

• Designed a series of infographics to showcase the year’s highlights and key information.

• Created a digital version of the report which was responsive and in line with the existing Euroclear website.

RESULTS

• The annual report was completed on time and delivered to locations in four countries and the online version went live as planned.

• The feedback from Euroclear on the design was very positive and the infographics have been utilised in subsequent marketing materials.
