I applied to be a cashier. I will be expected to keep the counter neat, take orders, collect money, give correct change with and without the aid of the computer, fill orders, and be courteous and respectful to all customers.


My greatest strength is my ability to adapt to any situation in which I find myself. I am highly trainable and, with a little initial assistance, I can carry out any task required of me.


My greatest weakness is that I get very nervous when speaking in public and prefer not to at all costs. In order to prevent this nervousness, I make sure that I am well-prepared for any presentation.


When I face a lot of stress and pressure, I usually take a deep breath and say a little prayer for patience. Then I breakdown whatever task I have to do into smaller, more manageable pieces and work on those one at a time.


Last year, a parent showed up in my classroom unannounced and demanded to observe her child. I allowed it on the first day so as not to disrupt the rest of the class. She demanded to come the entire week. She also called during one of my classes to berate me for my methods and practices. I spoke with the counselor and administrator about preventing her hostility from entering my class. I called security to have the parent removed from my doorway as she prevented my students from entering. My first job is to protect my students. Despite trying to work with the parent, her hostility prevented her daughter from continuing in the class.


In order to work at Burger King, I need to be respectful and courteous, but know when to seek assistance from my superiors and others.


As long as there is respect for differing ideas and evidence to support any idea, working as a team is easy.


When a student who does not think they can do math finally understands a concept, that is my greatest reward.
