We can see the refection of Indian culture in the Indian dresses. There are generally

two types of Indian dresses which are Traditional Indian clothing and modern clothing. Traditional dresses include salwar kameez, saree, lehenga, dhoti, kurta, sherwani etc. where as modern dresses are said to be the influence of

western culture in India.

The most common dress for all the Indian women is Salwar kameez. It is the most comfortable and easy dress to wear and maintain. The designer salwar kameez or churidar can be used in any occasions, festivals and marriage parties.

Saree is such a traditional Indian dress that expose the actual beauty of women. Sarees are available in various different materials and designs. Wearing saree is itself an art because there are different techniques of wearing saree. There is no other dress comparable with saree.

Lehenga is one more Indian dress that is mainly used in occasions and festivals. It is generally a two piece dress worn with a dupatta. Lehenga is ornamented with pearls, beads, sequins and chamkis.
