Where is Machu Picchu?The Inca city of Machu Picchu is located 130 kilometers northwest of Cusco, in the Urubamba province, on a mountain ridge above the Sacred Valley. It´s near of the Amazon Rainforest.

What is it? (weather)Machu Picchu is a Citadel constructed of stones. The weather isn´t extreme. It has a milder climate than Cuzco. The vegetation is abundant there live vicuñas, alpacas and llamas.The citadel is completely invisible from below of the mountain.

Do you have to pay to get in?You have to buy the ticket at the Machu Picchu Cultural Centre in Aguas Calientes. The Entrance ticket is around 40 dolars. it is 25 dolars for children. and students there is 50% discount.

How do you get there?

From Cusco to Machu Picchu by Train

You can reach Machu Picchu by train in around three hours.Once you reach destination by the train, you need a bus ride.It takes around 20 minutes to reach Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes. but this is a short time. From there you climb the mountain walking

The opinion of our group is that Machu Picchu is a pride of all Peruvian. Also, because Machu Picchu is magical, magnetic and beautiful place. It´s just amazing.
