Operation Christmas Child — A Division of Samaritan’s Purse

What goes into every shoebox is something fun...what comes out is eternal!

EVERY gift-filled box is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship—

transforming the lives of children and their families around the world through

the Good News of Jesus Christ! Pre-printed shoeboxes and plastic ones are

available on the card table in the narthex. If ordering a soccer ball, it would be

best to use a plastic box.

Have you ever thought about sending a SOCCER BALL in your Operation Christmas Child shoe

box gift? One soccer ball and one shoebox can not only change one life, but hundreds of lives

in a village. If you are interested, please sign up on the bulletin board in the foyer. If you have

any questions please see a member of the Mission Team.

Vendor: EPIC Sports

Cost of Size 5 Champion Soccer Ball = $5.69

Cost of Champion Sports 10" Plastic Hand Ball Pump = $1.59

Cost of Champro Ball Inflation Needles = $.69

Total Cost of One (1) Soccer Set = $7.97

Pedricktown Day Volunteers Needed

The Mission Team needs YOUR assistance to reach out to visitors on Pedrick-

town Day - Saturday, October 8th between 7:30AM through 4 PM (rain date –

Sunday, October 9th from noon until 5). Once again we are handing out water

and have some festival games for the kids to enjoy with prizes. We need YOU

and YOUR entire family to commit just 90 minutes to participate in this very

important mission endeavor. Our point person is Eleanor Clemente

(telephone # (856) 299-6309 and e-mail [email protected]).

Please use the sign-up sheets on the bulletin board in the narthex.

Also if you are able to donate water for Pedricktown Day please place your case of water on the

shelving outside the door to the stage. Thank you!

THANK YOU!!

It’s Time for a New Church Photo Directory!

We are holding photo sessions here at the church on Friday, October 21 from 11am to 6pm,

Saturday, October 22 from 10 am to 5pm and Sunday, October 23rd from 12pm to 6:30pm. As

before each family will receive a free 8x10 and a free directory for participating and you will

have the opportunity to purchase additional photos for yourself, friends and family. What a

great idea for a Christmas present! This year Lifetouch is offering a $5 discount for bringing in a

food item to the photo session for their Feed the Need food collection. Also, available are 20%

discounts for Seniors over 60 and those who have served in the military, as well as police and

firefighters.

Online scheduling is now available on the home page of the church website. Go to fbcpedrick-

town.org and click on the link. Or see Beth Biermann or Tina Nipe between church and Sunday

School and they will sign you up for a photo session.
