… an informal association of responsibles of local stakeholders (policy, administration, companies, science, institutions, associations), with the aim of the development of a joint, constructive and open dialogue about climate protection and joint solution strategies.

Aims:

• the economic reduction of CO2 emissions by at least 50 % by 2030 compared to 1990 (according to the Climate Alliance targets)

• to create a networking platform of all actors seeking to reduce CO2 emissions

1) Networks like MfCP are imperative for a successful climate protection policy

2) Goals / Targets must not be too ambitious, but realistic

3) Responsibilities and roles must be clearly defined

4) Continuity must be secured
