Around 1650 BC they joined to become an empire.

They defeated Babylon and fought against the Egyptians for control of the Mediterranean coast

Pure Warriors with new fighting technology…Began to use iron (stronger than bronze), created chariots to move faster in battle.

Eventually the Hittites were overcome by waves of invasion and attack from many outsiders
