Today there is a Sunday movementin progress all over the world. Both theformer pope, Pope Benedict XVI, and thenew Jesuit pope, Francis, want to strengt-hen Sunday as the day of rest, and makeit into a Family Day. The EuropeanSunday Alliance wants to have Sundayas a day of rest, just as the two popes.They are working together in order tostrengthen Sunday as the day of rest inEurope... and also in the whole world.Bishops and priests long for a renewal ofSunday celebration. Trade unions willprevent Sunday-shopping. Some peoplewant a public movement in order toprotect the peace of Sunday, while otherswant to fine those disturbing this peace.22

It is most likely that a number ofpeople lobbying for Sunday sacrednesshave the best of motives in mind forthis activity. After all,we are living in a fast-paced society whereeverybody needs a dayfor rest andrecreation. But theidea of fining peoplewho are not willing toobserve Sunday as aholy day, is not inaccordance with the

Spirit of Christ. To keep the day of restholy must be a personal decision, andshould be done out of joy and love forChrist - not by force. By the way, didyou know that the day church leadersall over the world are seeking toenforce is a false day of rest? Did youknow that it is the papacy that has changedGod�s Ten Commandments as we findthem in the Catechism, and that almostall the world has accepted this change?

In respect of those in leadingpositions in our country, we will ask thefollowing questions: Do the members ofparliament, the bishops, the priests andthe teachers, educating the children in ourschools, know that the commandments ofthe catechism differ widely from God�sten commandments? In the catechismthey have removed the secondcommandment, prohibiting the worship

of images. They have also removedalmost all the text in the commandmentconcerning the day of rest, which says thatwe shall keep holy the seventh day of theweek, the Sabbath, and not Sunday, whichaccording to the Bible is the first day ofthe week. Since they removed one of thecommandments, they had just ninecommandments left. In order to restoreTen Commandments, they split the tenthcommandment into two. This is a seriousfalsification - the greatest deception inhistory. (You may compare the twocolumns of commandments on page 7 foryourself).

The falsification of God�s TenCommandments tells us that God asauthority and lawgiver is not respected.Let us take a closer look at thisfalsification. It is much deeper than mostof us realise.

One of the commandments changedby the Catholic Church is thecommandment concerning the day of rest.The complete commandment in the Bible(the 4th) concerning the day of rest reads:

"Remember the sabbath day, tokeep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour,and do all thy work: But the seventhday is the sabbath of the LORD thyGod: in it thou shalt not do any work,thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thymanservant, nor thy maidservant, northy cattle, nor thy stranger that is

within thy gates: For in six days theLORD made heaven and earth, thesea, and all that in them is, and restedthe seventh day: wherefore the LORDblessed the sabbath day, and hallowedit."

In this commandment we read thatthe seventh day, the Sabbath, is the dayof rest. Reading carefully we discover inthe wording in this commandment the sealof God. A seal has the name and the titleof its owner. It also reflects the owner'sposition of authority or domain. God hasput His seal in His law, and it is found inthe fourth commandment. The lawmaker'sname is the LORD, the title is the Creator(He who made) and the domain is heavenand earth, the sea, and all that in themis. It was a tactical move of the CatholicChurch to remove this seal in theirincomplete and incorrect version of thecommandment in the Catechism. Here thepeople's attention is no longer drawn towho is the lawgiver, and to whom they shallshow their loyalty. Through their assumedecclesiastical power and authority theyhave changed the commandments as theypleased. You will see the difference in thecommandments on page 7.

In the Catholic Catechism, thecommandment regarding the day of restsimply reads: "Remember that thou keepholy the Sabbath day." In the LutheranCatechism we read: "You shall keep theday of rest holy." Here we are not toldwhich particular day the day of rest is,nor who the lawgiver is.

The Catholic Church admits openlyand bluntly that she is responsible forchanging the day of rest from Sabbath toSunday.

From a Roman Catholiccathechism we read the following:"Question: Which is the Sabbath day?Answer: Saturday is the Sabbath day.Question: Why do we observe Sundayinstead of Saturday? Answer: Weobserve Sunday instead of Saturdaybecause the Catholic Church, in theCouncil of Laodicea (A.D.336),transferred the solemnity fromSaturday to Sunday. Question: Haveyou any other way of proving that theChurch (Roman Catholic) has powerto institute festivals of precept?Answer: Had she no such power, she

could not havedone that inwhich allm o d e r nr e l i g i o n i s t sagree with her� she could nothave substi-tuted theobservance ofSunday, thefirst day of theweek, for theobservance ofSaturday, theseventh day, achange forwhich there is noS c r i p t u r a lauthority."3

It is sad, but a matter of fact, that a Churchauthority has decided something that isdifferent from what the Bible teaches.They instituted a false day of rest early inhistory, more than 1000 years before thetime of Luther. That is why most peopletoday are ignorant of this fact. Have thepriests, the Sunday school teachers or theteachers of religion, in your district,informed you about this change?

Martin Luther � who was raised aCatholic, but later discovered what thisfalse system is all about, said: "It is plainthat the marks of the Antichristcoincide with those of the pope�s king-dom and his followers." 34 This state-ment you will find in the book ofConcord; The Confessions of theEvangelical Lutheran Church. Luther wasright in this, because all the identifyingmarks of the Bible regarding the greatAntichristian power � "the beast" � fit thePapacy.

One of the identifying marks of this"beast" is that it has "a mark." In theBible we read: "If any man worship thebeast and his image, and receive hismark in his forehead, or in his hand,The same shall drink of the wine of thewrath of God, which is poured outwithout mixture into the cup of his in-dignation; and he shall be tormentedwith fire and brimstone in the presenceof the holy angels, and in the presenceof the Lamb;" And: "He causeth all,both small and great, rich and poor,free and bond, to receive a mark in theirright hand, or in their foreheads: Andthat no man might buy or sell, save hethat had the mark, or the name of thebeast, or the number of his name." 17

Since all the Biblical identifyingmarks of the "beast" fit the Papacy, thissign (about the mark) must also fit thePapacy. The Catholic Church confirmsthrough many statements that she has amark. We read:

"Sunday is our mark ofauthority. The church is above theBible, and this transference of Sabbathobservance (to Sunday) is proof of thatfact."2

Let us look at another: "Of coursethe Catholic Church claims that thechange was her act... And the act is aMARK of her eccle-siastical authorityin religious things." 5

It is astonishing, and at the sametime very sad, that the Lutheran Churchwith all her branches have joined with theRoman Catholic Church in accepting thefalse day of rest and the falsecommandments promoted in theCatechism. They have accepted afalsification of a God-given command-ment. Those who are acquainted with thefacts and accept the falsehoods, and donot turn away from them, also break Godslaw.

Let us look at what a fewProtestants have to say about this changeto the day of rest:

1. "And where are we told in theScriptures that we are to keep the first dayat all? We are commanded to keep theseventh day, but we are nowherecommanded to keep the first day." 6

2. "On the other hand there is nocommand in the New Testament thatestablishes or provides for the celebrationof Sunday. And of course there does notexist any command that says that Sundayis going to assume the role of the Sabbath(Saturday) for the Christian." 7

THE RESURRECTION OF JESUSNow, I am very much aware of the

fact that many Christians hold to theobservance of the first day of the week asthe day of rest in memory of theresurrection of Jesus. But even if someonebegan celebrating the day of resurrection,it is wrong to jump to the conclusion thatwe thereby have a new day of rest. TheScriptures state that Jesus is the Lord ofthe Sabbath.8 He created this world andHe also instituted the day of rest. It iseven written that "All things were madeby him, and without him was notanything made that was made." 9 Jesusis the Lord of the Sabbath, so, if the dayof rest was to be changed, Jesus wouldbe the one to make that change, but thisHe has not done. It is the Papacy (thebeast) that is responsible for this change.

The Bible says that God blessedand hallowed the seventhday. Are you able to find- in the Bible - that Jesushas asked us to stopkeeping the seventh dayholy, and instead com-manded us to keep thefirst day? Are you able tofind that He has changedthe Ten Commandments,including the command tokeep the seventh-daySabbath holy, thecommandment whichGod wrote with His ownfinger? Are you able tofind that God or Jesus hasmade holy and blessed the

first day of the week? Be honest withyourself and answer these questions. It isquite clear that the Bible tells us that Godset aside the seventh day for a holy pur-pose and blessed it. It is the day that in aspecial way has been set aside for spiri-tual and physical renewal. It is the trueday of rest. Gods' day, for us.

God gave us the day of rest becauseHe loves us and wants to bless us in aspecial way by His presence. If we loveGod, we want to show our faith andobedience to God by keeping holy the dayof rest He has instituted for our good.Only then will we receive the full blessingof the day of rest.8&10

"But which day is the Biblicalseventh day?" you might ask. Inconnection with the death of Jesus, Hisburial and resurrection, the Bible calls theday Jesus died "the preparation day," or"the day before the Sabbath." We also callit Good Friday. The day Jesus arose fromthe grave is called the first day of theweek, our Sunday. The day between thesetwo days is called "the Sabbath," "theseventh day," Saturday. Jesus, the Lord

of the Sabbath, rested in the tomb onSaturday, and arose to a new workday onSunday. Therefore Sunday is - accordingto the Bible - the first of the six workdaysof the week, and the followers of Christwill accept this.1&33

The disciples also continued tokeep the Sabbath as the day of rest afterthe resurrection of Jesus, which is in thenew covenant. Because Jesus Christ isthe same yesterday, and today, andforever, all who profess to be Christiansshould also now keep God's and Christ'sholy rest day, the seventh-day Sabbath.40

The Bible describes the Sabbath asthe Lord's holy day (See Isaiah 58: 13)."The Lord's day" is therefore NOTSunday, but the Sabbath (Saturday).Sunday means "the day of the Sun," andnot the Son's day.

Some countries have adjusted thedays of the calendar. In Norway this wasdone as of January 1, 1973. Before thatdate Saturday was the seventh day of thecalendar. Ever since that date Saturdayhas been the sixth day of the week.Sunday, which previously was listed asthe first day, now stands as the seventhday of the week. This is misleading. Theimpression can be given to the people thatSunday is the seventh day of the Bible.Some people also have started to callSunday the Sabbath. But those who arewilling to do a little investigation, willsoon discover that Sunday is acounterfeith Sabbath. Sunday wasoriginally the first day of the week, andaccording to Biblical reckoning it is stillthe first workday of the week.33

Therefore, because of the changethat has taken place in regard to the dayof rest, we have to make a decision. Dowe want to obey God and keep holy God'sprecious Sabbath day, or obey man andkeep Sunday?

THE LAW OF GODExo. 20, 3-17

1. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image,or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above,or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waterunder the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself tothem, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am ajealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers uponthe children unto the third and fourth generation ofthem that hate me, and showing mercy unto thousandsof them that love me, and keep my commandments.

3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy Godin vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless thattaketh his name in vain.

4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Sixdays shalt thou labour and do all thy work: but theSeventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in itthou shalt not do any work, thou nor thy daughter, thymanservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, northy stranger that is within thy gates: for in six days theLord made heaven and earth, the sea and all that inthem is, and rested the seventh day. Wherefore theLord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

5. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy daysmay be long upon the land which the Lord thy Godgiveth thee.

6. Thou shalt not kill.

7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.

8. Thou shalt not steal.

9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thyneighbour.

10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour�s house, thoushalt not covet thy neighbour�s wife, nor hismanservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor hisass, nor anything that is thy neighbour�s.

FALSE SHEPHERDSPerhaps you wonder why the

clergy have been silent about thechange concerning the TenCommandments? It is possible thatsome have not discovered this change, butthe simple answer is that too many havebeen false representatives of God andkept the truth about the "mark of thebeast" hidden from the people. Theycalm the people down with a pleasantmessage of peace and safety. They saythat "the Sabbath was made for the Jews,"and "We live under the new covenant,"so, "Sunday is the day of rest." But thinkfor yourself! The Sabbath was institutedlong before the first Jew - Abraham - evenexisted. The Sabbath was instituted inthe beginning, at Creation, and Jesus says

that it "was made for man."8 It wasmade for you and me. In addition, Jesussays that as long as we see the heavenabove us and the earth below us, God'sCommandments are valid.11 God's Ten

Commandments are just as valid todayin the new covenant. But the change fromthe old covenant to the new covenant isthat now we may come directly to Jesusand receive forgiveness from our sins,without the sacrifice of a lamb. The sys-tem of sacrificial offerings is done awaywith, it has reached its fulfilment in Christ.Jesus has come as the true sacrificialLamb, and He has been sacrificed onceand for all.12

Even though we present the subjectof the Sabbath commandment quiteextensively in this pamphlet, we are awareof the fact that all the commandments areimportant. The Bible says that"whosoever shall keep the whole law,and yet offend in one point, he is guiltyof all." 2o

This is an important truth to con-sider both for Sabbathkeepers and anti-abortion supporters and all others thateagerly promote one specialcommandment.

THE SUNDAY MOVEMENTA Sunday movement is presently

in progress all over the world. Powerfulreligious groups exist in the USA, suchas "The Lord's Day Alliance," "TheChristian Coalition," "TenCommandments Commission" and

others, working hard in order to establishSunday as a national and universal dayof rest. Because of moral decay,threatening economic collapse andcatastrophes, they firmly believe thepeople and the nation must get back tothe Ten Commandments in order toreceive the blessing of God. It is in thisconnection they want to restore the falseday of rest.

Today we see how bishops andpriests are uniting with Christian alliances,the business world, trade unions and otherorganizations to give life to Sunday as the

day of rest. They are trying to give life tothe mark of the beast.

In the European Union (EU), theyare lobbying to make Sunday thecommon day of rest, and they will evenmake laws in order to protect Sunday asthe day of rest. Jacques Delors, a Catholic,and former president of the EU, calls for"one spirit, one opinion and onespirituality in the European institutions."13 In the EU they continue to build on thismodel, and Sunday as the day of rest will,they think, bind them together in onespirituality. They try to find points incommon to agree upon in the Union, andSunday as a common day of rest, issomething both Catholics and most

Protestants can agree upon.This is a smartmove by the Catholics, because theexaltation of Sunday is in reality an effortby the Catholic establishment to strengt-hen the mark of their authority (Sunday)in all nations.

OBLIGATORY SUNDAY OBSER-VANCE

Today both Catholic and Protestantnations have incorporated Sunday lawsdormant in their legal system. When theselaws are enforced, it will be obligatory tokeep Sunday as a day of rest. At that timethe prophecy of "the mark of the beast"will be fulfilled.

The Bible says that in the end thewhole world will be drawn into this lastgreat conflict. We will either choose toworship God and honour Him as theCreator of heaven and earth - by keepingholy God�s and Jesus� day of rest, whichis the Sabbath - or we will be loyal to "thebeast" (the Papacy) and take its mark,which is Sunday. All who love the Saviourand are filled with the Holy Spirit, willprove their loyalty to God by observing Hislaw. They will refuse to accept a spurioussabbath, and will stand under the bannerof the Lord. They are the ones who willreceive the seal of the living God.39

Those who surrender the truth ofheavenly origin and accept the Sundaysabbath, will receive the mark of the beast.

Those who choose to receive themark of the beast, will receive the markin their foreheads (representingdecisions made in their mind) or receiveit in their right hand (representing theiractions or power).35 But not one person(as mentioned above) will be made to feelthe wrath of God upon the transgressorof His law, until the truth has been broughtto his mind and conscience, and has beenrejected.

Although the conflict of the Sunday- Sabbath issue is still ahead of us,decisions to be faithful must be madetoday. Since we know the facts concern-ing the violation of the law of God andthe forgery of the testament that has taken

place concerning the day of rest, it isimportant that we at the present time takea stand against the false Sabbath. Weshould choose to follow in the footstepsof Jesus now, and He kept the Sabbath,the seventh day of the week � from sunsetFriday till sunset Saturday. 1 & 33

We believe there are honest andsincere people in the differentdenominations, including the CatholicChurch. When these individuals discoverthe falsifications that have taken place inregard to God's ten commandments,including the Sabbath commandment, anumber of them will deal with thesefalsehoods. They will cut the bands thatbind them, and become powerful tools forGod in the closing work at the end time.

When we in this pamphlet revealwhat has taken place, that the Catholicsystem is behind the change, we are notcondemning the Catholic believers asindividuals, but seeking to enlighten andhelp them, and all of us, to arrive at theright conclusion on this subject.

EUROPEANA N DG L O B A LUNITY

The Biblereveals that therulers of thisworld will unitejust before thereturn of JesusChrist, ourSaviour. 15 Wesee the preludeto this unitytoday. Therulers of thisworld - in secretsocieties �prepare the

directions that will pave the way andunite Europe and the rest of the world un-der the power elite and their system ofinternational laws .

We see this unity through the Euro-pean Union, GATT, NATO, the AfricanUnion, UN and now also through the NewWorld Order, which was repeatedlymentioned by George Bush during theGulf crisis, and which the rulers of theworld now endorse.

Europe and the rest of the world areindeed about to unite both on theeconomic, political and religious front,.and the Bible reveals that it is "the harlot"(the Roman Catholic Church) that is incharge. It is written in God's word, thatthe kings of the earth commit adulterywith the harlot. The merchants and all thegreat men of the earth are doing businesswith the harlot and obtain wealth by hercommercial connections. They havebecome intoxicated with her wine, anddeceived by the sorcery of the Papacy. 16

Presently we see how spiritualism(through New Age), Catholicism and

Protestantism unite. As far as therelationship between Catholicism andProtestantism is concerned, it is the Pro-testant establishment that iscompromising their beliefs in a drifttoward Catholicism. This we see in thePorvoo Declaration, the JointDeclaration, the big church alliances, inthe rituals and traditions of the church, inthe plans to educate our children andyouth and elsewhere. The governmentcontributes in pushing through these li-beral attitudes that break with the princip-les of Protestantism.

THEY HAVE ONE THOUGHTWe are on the brink of a great and

decisive struggle on this our planet. TheBible says: "The kings of the earth setthemselves, and the rulers take counseltogether, against the LORD, and againsthis anointed." 16

The Bible further states that therulers of the world "have one mind, andshall give their power and strengthunto the beast," 18 a description of howstrong and united this movement is."There will be a universal bond ofunion, one great harmony, aconfederacy of Satan's forces." "In the

warfare to be waged in the last daysall the corrupt powers that do not showobedience to the law of God will unitein opposition to Christ and those whoare standing on His side" 19 � "they thatkeep the commandments of God, andthe faith of Jesus." 20 The church willreceive help from the governments.They will counsel together and uniteto enforce and exalt the Papacy'scounterfeit day of rest - Sunday -contrary to the Biblical day of rest. Thefourth commandment of the Bible - theSabbath commandment will thus be thegreat point of issue, because in it thegreat Lawmaker identifies Himself asthe Creator of heaven and earth."19

Are you in doubt as to what the endresult will be? Jesus says: "All power isgiven unto me in heaven and in earth."21 It is God and Christ who are in control.Satan, who rebelled against God inheaven and was thrown down to this earth,has been given opportunity to prove whathis system of government is all about.God is love. He does not force anyone,neither Satan nor us, but He lets us choosebetween good or evil, life or death. Soonthe struggle will be over, and the Bibletells us the outcome of this struggle:"These (all the corrupt powers of the

world) shall makewar with the Lamb,and the Lamb shallovercome them." 18

It is Jesus Christ, theSaviour of the world,the Lord of lords andKing of kings, andthose who choose tostand on His sidethat will bevictorious in thisstruggle betweengood and evil,between Christ andSatan. On which sidewill you stand?

THE USA IN PROPHECYDid you know that the USA is

symbolically represented in Bibleprophecy? It says that this nation rises likea lamb, but that it would start to speaklike a dragon. Yes, the Bible makes it clearthat this very nation, the USA, will be thepower leading in the exaltation of what iscalled «the beast», and will finallyintroduce «the mark of the beast».

Most people will be surprised whenthey discover that the USA, which isknown as a nation of religious liberty, willsuppress the conscience and force peopleto worship a religious authority throughstrict, religious laws enforced by the state.

Right now they are punishingterrorists, but the Bible reveals that thisnation � which should stand for the libertyof Protestantism and never enforce lawsconcerning religion, will eventuallydeceive, punish and issue a death decreein order to destroy those who will not ac-cept �the image of the beast� and �themark of the beast�.

Those who have foretold andwarned the people of this developmenthave previously been looked upon as�prophets of doom�. But after the USAstarted persecuting terrorists all over the

world, many people now understand thatthe expression �terrorists� has becomebroader. In the end, this expression willprobably also be applied to those �Thepower elite� looks upon as �Christianfundamentalists� � those who will obeyGod rather than man when the laws ofthe rulers in this world go against the lawof God.

Therefore the question today is: Dowe see that the USA has begun to speakas a dragon?

PREPARATIONIn all this struggle we must remember thatthe gift of salvation and eternal life isavailable to everyone. Jesus says: "ForGod so loved the world, that he gavehis only begotten Son, that whosoeverbelieveth in him should not perish, buthave everlasting life." 23 So it is all upto you and me if we will accept the gift ofsalvation. There is no other way to besaved, because Jesus declares: "I am theway, the truth, and the life: no mancometh unto the Father but by me."23

Let us do as the prodigal son did,who had wandered a long way fromhome. First he thought that he would go

home to his father. But that was not

enough. It was only when he acted uponhis thoughts, when he stood up and wenthome. Just as the father noticed him faraway and ran towards him with his armsopened wide, so Jesus longs to accepteveryone who comes to Him in faith.24

Jesus says: "and him that cometh to meI will in no wise cast out." 24

Now a rather personal question thatpresents itself is this: Would you like toaccept the gift of salvation and say yesto Jesus?

The signs of the times show thatthe return of Jesus Christ is near at hand.Therefore it is of great importance thatwe now decide to stand on His side.

When Jesus returns, He does notcome to save us in our sins or to cleanseour minds from all impurities. No, thiscleansing has to take place before Jesuscomes again. Only then will we beaccepted by Him when He comes to gat-her His people.26

Perhaps you are asking: "Whatdoes it really mean to say 'yes' to Jesus,and to place myself on His side?" Theanswer can be summarised in this way:

����� The Bible says that "all havesinned, and come short of the glory ofGod." "Sin is the transgression of thelaw" and "the wages of sin is death."27

So at the starting point we are all in a lostcondition.

����� In this condition Jesus offers usHis grace and salvation. God is seekingus. He does not want us to be lost. The-refore He sent His own Son to die onour behalf, so that "whosoeverbelieveth in Him should not perish, buthave everlasting life."23

����� The Holy Spirit is calling us to

humble ourselves, repent, turn away fromsin, and do the will of God. When weaccept this call, we should know thatJesus has promised to forgive our sinsby the power of His blood. We will thenstand pure before God, clothed in the robeof the righteousness of Jesus, undeservedby grace through faith.28&29

����� When a person has heard thegospel of Jesus Christ, and by faithaccepts Jesus as his personal Saviour, thenit is time to be baptised. The baptism ofthe Bible is done by immersion. Thebaptismal candidate is immersed in thewater; symbolising that his sin is beingburied in the water, and the baptised arisesout of the water to newness of life withChrist. It also means that by this symbolicact, you testify of what has taken place inyour heart; that you now believe Jesusdied, was buried, and arose from the gravefor your sake..36 Jesus Himself wasbaptised in this manner (even though Hedid not need it, for He was without sin)but He did it as an example for us, so thatwe may follow in His footsteps.37

When we have decided to followJesus completely and wholeheartedly, andhave been baptised in this manner, thenwe have been promised that Jesus willgive us the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spiritis then the power in the life of the Chri-stian which makes us able to resist thetemptations that meet us.38

����� When Jesus intervenes in the lifeof the believer, a change of characterwill take place. It will be a delight and ajoy to take up the cross and follow Christ.You will, with the help of the Holy Spirit,give up the pleasures of the world. Youwill, still by the help of the Holy Spirit,take every thought captive in obedienceto Christ. You will, by God's grace andhelp, follow and obey the Spirit and notthe flesh. You will, with help from the

Holy Spirit, cleanse your soul inobedience to the truth, and when you disc-over that the seventh day is Jesus' day ofrest, and that God has sanctified and bles-sed it, then you will with joy and love forChrist follow in His footsteps - on thispoint also. 29

����� When the Holy Spirit has takenpossession of the life of the believer, he/she will naturally spread the light of thetruth to others with joy. Jesus is theemployer. He says: "Go ye therefore,and teach all nations"...! Will you ac-cept this challenge?

In this leaflet we wish to upliftChrist as the Saviour. At the sametime we will - in love - warnagainst the "beast" and "the markof the beast". The world reallyneeds the message of warning andthe message of salvation, whichwe find in Revelation chapter 14,verses 1-12, and Revelationchapter 18, verses 1-4.30 Theworld is waiting to see in the lifeof the believer, the faith and dis-position of Jesus, and hear themessage of salvation from sinbeing preached clearly. Jesus

came to this world in order tosave people from their sins, notin their sins. Jesus was one withthe Father. He was God. He wasthe Creator. When Jesus came tosave the human race from sin, Heclothed His divinity withhumanity. For 4000 years therace had been decreasing inphysical strength, in mental po-wer and in moral worth; andChrist took upon Himself theinfirmities of degeneratehumanity. He was tempted in allpoints as we are, but He did notsin. He had to receive power andstrength from God in order to livea life without sin. Thus we also

can receive power and strength in everytemptation to live a life without sinning.Just as the branch must be in constantconnection with the trunk in order to liveand bear fruit, so we must be in constantconnection with Jesus in order not to sin. Ifwe sin, then we have failed, not Jesus. 31

Let us at all times seek to do thewill of God, and keep our minds turnedheavenward. Then we will go from vic-tory to victory in our Christian life.

In the last great conflict the peoplethat keep the commandments of God andhave the faith of Jesus, will not receivethe mark of the beast, but - by God's
