CHARACTERS: NARRATOR (1, 2 or 3) GINGERBREAD OLD WOMAN OLD MAN COW HORSE PIG FOX OPTIONAL CHARACTERS HEN RABBIT DOG NARRATOR: Once upon a time there was a little old woman a little old man. They lived in a cottage. They were very sad because they had no children. OLD MAN: oh... I am very sad, I would like to have a child. OLD WOMAN: I have an idea!. We can make gingerbread cookies! NARRATOR: So one day the old woman made a gingerbread cookie. OLD WOMAN: I need: flour, sugar, butter, ginger and sugar candies. OLD MAN: Ok I help you. NARRATOR: And they started making the gingerbread cookie. When they finished the man said: OLD MAN: Ok, we can put it in the oven. NARRATOR: And the put the gingerbread man in the oven. After 10 minutes they opened the oven. OLD WOMAN: mmmm.... what a nice smell. NARRATOR: But suddenly... the gingerbread man jumped up and he run out. OLD WOMAN AND LITTLE OLD MAN: stop, stop!, don't run away!. Come here! GINGERBREAD MAN: “ Run, run, as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man”.

GINGERBREADMAN: run, run as fast as you can you can't catch me I'm the Gingerbreadman. NARRATOR: the gingerbreadman run and run. By the way he met a horse. HORSE: Neigh, neigh!. You look very nice!.
