J.M.+J.T. Praised be Jesus Christ, who dwells among us, now and forever!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Have mercy on us Garden of Carmel

As we enter into the month of June we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Body and Blood of Christ and head

into that special feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. How will you devote yourself to the Sacred Heart of

Jesus? What will make it sacred for you and your family? Perhaps you may be inspired to attend the Liturgies in

your parish for first Friday devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus…

Let us all give thanks and praise for Jesus’ gift of Himself-His real presence in the Eucharist-and for what it

means for us: “Amen, amen. I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life… Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my

blood remains in me and I in Him” (John 6:47, 56)

Daily Practice in our Carmelite Spirituality “The call to Carmel is to walk in the footsteps of Jesus with Mary and Elijah and with St. Mary Magdalene de’ Pazzi like her

“may we never tire of calling God with this name “Love”

Reflection: As Carmelites our calling is to live in the love of God. To walk in the love of God. St. Mary Magdalene de’ Pazzi asked her sisters “to love only our Lord Jesus Christ, to place all hope in Him, and be perpetually devoted with desire to suffer for love of Him”. There are three virtues, faith, hope and love and these are the foundation of our spiritual life. But only love endures forever. In heaven there is only one theological virtue and that is love. “Love will endure forever”. God is love. His love is an eternal love; and this love without beginning has prepared graces and blessings for us from all eternity. And so my dear Garden of Carmel let us always love one another because this “love” is so dear to the

our Community, Garden of Carmel communion with God from morning to evening. Amen. Estrella

St. Mary Magdalene de’ Pazzi had a great devotion to Our Lady of Mount

Carmel her feast day is May 25, and she was a significant inspiration in the

development of Carmelite Marian devotion to the "Most Pure Virgin", claiming

that the beauty of Mary lay in her purity, which was what had made her one

with the Word in her divine maternity.

In our Carmelite Way of Life we find joy in our journey with Jesus and Mary, in our May meeting we are so blessed to have Fr. Stephen Watson, O.C.D and Ms. Bernadeane Carr, S.T.L.

Flower offering to our Lady, as we honor Her as Queen of Heaven and Earth. How wonderful it is to be in the family of Carmel. We all believe that Mary led us to Carmel who’s always watching and guiding us. As a community, we learned that

Mary is a shining example to gaze upon Her as She totally embraces the will of God. Let us all ask our Blessed Mother to pray for us.

We begin praying the Liturgy of the Hours

Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Very Reverend Stephen Watson, OCD priest and Ms. Bernadeane Carr gave us a beautiful reflection about our

Blessed Virgin Mary’s role in our Catholic faith.

Enjoying our Carmelites babies, Elijah and Sebastian, “with Jesus

our Brother and Mary our Mother”, we are one big happy family, one family are we…

As we celebrate this beautiful month of June dedicated to our Lord Jesus Christ

we find these feasts a very special the

coming of the Holy Spirit, The Feast

of the Most Holy Trinity, The Most Holy

Body and Blood of Christ and the Feast

of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we become united with God and dwell with

Him. Fr. Hardon, the Servant of God

and the Eucharist are inseparable” as

Carmelites our only desire is to seek for

Jesus in Holy Communion: Let us be

united, and never more to be separate.

For His great love for us.
