Page 2: The galaxies

There are three different types of galaxies.

Spiral GalaxiesElliptical GalaxiesIrregular Galaxies

Page 3: The galaxies

The Milky Way Galaxy is a Spiral Galaxy. There are thousands of stars and solar

systems in the Milky Way.

Page 4: The galaxies

Irregular Galaxies have no real shape to them.

It is said that they make up about on fourth of all of the galaxies

They also seem to hold an abundant amount of gas that makes stars.

Page 5: The galaxies

Elliptical galaxies are a strange type of galaxy.

They look like a round ball or are in an oval shape.

They rank these on a scale from E0 to E7 depending on how much of a circle it is(E0) or a complete oval(E7)

Page 6: The galaxies

There are two different types of Spiral Galaxies.

One is just Spiral Galaxy and the other is a Spiral Barred Galaxy.

The two types are very similar to each other

• Spiral Barred Galaxy

• Spiral Galaxy
